On the results of the work of sanatorium and health resort organizations in the Vitebsk region in 2018

According to the results of the operation of the DIS in 2018, the growth rate of revenue from the sale of services compared to the same period last year was 113.4%, including foreign citizens - 111.5%. The number of vouchers sold increased by 108.3%, including foreign nationals - 112.2%. The growth rate of revenue from the provision of additional paid services amounted to 120.8%, of which medical services - 117.9%.
Sanatorium and resort organizations of the region are constantly working on the introduction of new types of paid services to the population. In 2018, new types of medical services were introduced in the health resorts of the region: general magnetic therapy, ultrasound examination of organs, ultrasound osteodensitometry, local cryotherapy, audiovisual stimulation, magnesium baths, shock wave therapy, puncture hirudotherapy, medicinal procedures with dry endogema, colon hydrotherapy, carboxytherapy, mud cure with fulvovami mud and many other types of services. Medical equipment is constantly updated with new products.
Wellness vouchers with medical programs were developed: “Healthy Skin”, “Slender Figure”, “Week without a Car”, “Have a Rest!”, “Chocolate Dreams”. Special programs for men are in demand. New methods of treatment have been introduced: UHF therapy on the area of ​​projection of the adrenal glands in respiratory diseases; chest ultrasound therapy according to the Shatrov method for chronic pneumonia; CMT according to the method of electrostimulation for obesity; laser puncture in osteochondrosis of the lumbar spine; oxygen cocktails for migraines, SVD, etc.
Cosmetic and SPA-procedures that are in high demand among holidaymakers are being actively developed and introduced. For these purposes, the medical staff undergoes special retraining, specialized apparatus and equipment, and cosmetics are purchased.
For a more comfortable stay for vacationers in the sanatorium organizations of the region, mini-laundries, hairdressing salons, rental centers for sports equipment and items for outdoor activities are open. Developed interesting excursion routes to familiarize citizens with the culture and history of Belarus.
The managers and specialists of the marketing services of the sanatorium-resort and recreational organizations are actively working to popularize recreation and increase the demand for vouchers. A lot of funds are spent on various types of advertising, on-site meetings with teams of Belarusian and Russian enterprises, participation in exhibitions, conferences and promotions. Promotional products are distributed at all events: calendars, flyers, booklets, price lists, business cards, souvenirs with logos of sanatoriums, etc. Contracts have been concluded for the demonstration of commercials about sanatoriums on the Internet with territorial distribution in the cities of Moscow and St. Petersburg.
Many sanatorium and resort organizations of the region took an active part in the largest international tourism fairs in the Republic of Belarus and abroad (“Belarus-Russia” Moscow, “MITT” Moscow, “Senior Generation” St. Petersburg, “ Prof. Tour ”Minsk,“ Leisure 2018 ”, Minsk,“ Tourist Business-2018 ”, etc.) During the exhibitions, contracts for cooperation with travel companies of the countries of the near and far abroad were signed.
In order to improve the performance of sanatoriums and recreational organizations, ensure their stable operation and load in the autumn-winter period, flexible discount systems have been developed in the sanatoriums of the region. Considering the market conditions for sanatorium-resort services in the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation, in the autumn-winter period, prices for sanatorium services are reduced by 15-25% compared with the summer period. The campaigns are held: “Last minute trips”, “Autumn price fall”, “Velvet season”, “Weekend tour”, “Early booking”, “Pay less - rest more”. New Year and Christmas tours programs are being developed and implemented.
Each sanatorium-resort organization has its own, constantly updated website, with information on prices for services, new types of services, medical procedures, room comfort, Wi-Fi availability, etc. To increase the client base and site traffic, contextual advertising is carried out on the Internet and the search engines yandex, google, mail, etc., groups are created in social networks with information about the services of sanatoriums.
Booking of trips is carried out in real time using e-mail, voice and video communications over the Internet. In addition, the booking on the website can be made using the “online consultation”, the mobile application for online booking is being introduced.
In order to inform the interested categories of citizens about the ongoing promotions, an electronic and mailing list is carried out on an ongoing basis.
Organizations that host English-speaking clients for rehabilitation and sanatorium-resort treatment have in their staff sanatorium persons who speak English. In some health resorts, the employees attended online courses “Business English”.
The owners of the health resorts of the Vitebsk region in order to ensure the progressive development of the system of sanatorium-resort treatment and rehabilitation of the population, special attention is paid to strengthening the material and technical base and increasing the efficiency of its use.
