On September 12, 2019, on the basis of the Gomselmash branch of the Sanatorium Mashinostroitel, with the support of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee, the Gomel Regional Committee and the direct participation of the organizer - the Gomel Regional Branch of the Writers Union of Belarus, represented by Chairman Vladimir Gavrilovich, the XIV Slavic Festival was held literary dozhinki-2019 ", as well as the III Forum of Young Writers and Lovers of Folk Art "Slovo" and the First Open International Literature Review Competition associations of the CIS countries.

Mashinostroitel Sanatorium cordially welcomed participants and finalists of the Slovo regional literary contest. The program of the event included conducting master classes for schoolchildren, youth and adults, speeches by masters of Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, laureates of regional competitions and guests of the festival.

Exhibitions and sales of literary publications, handicrafts of craftsmen of the city of Gomel and the district were held on an open area near the Sozh River in the sanatorium.

Of particular interest to the guests of the event was the presentation of the printed edition of the festival - an exhibition of books by fellow countrymen of the Gomel region. Guests and vacationers had the opportunity to take advantage of interesting and peculiar photo zones.

At the opening ceremony of the XIV International Festival-Holiday "Slavic Literary Dozhins-2019", winners of literary contests were awarded, a concert of amateur performances by artists of the Gomel region was held. The festival brought together 150 poets and writers from different countries. Creative delegations of Belarus, Russia and Ukraine lit the fire of friendship.

Also, in a festive atmosphere on the picturesque shore in the oak grove of the sanatorium, the Grand Prix of the competitions "Save the world together!" memory of N. Gromolko. Literary associations of Belarus, Russia and Ukraine conducted a literary and musical program.

This is not the first festival that takes place on the basis of the branch of Gomselmash OJSC Sanatorium Mashinostroitel, whose management and staff always strive to meet in holding such festivals and events, to organize an interesting leisure program for their vacationers and guests from near and far abroad .
