About international cooperation in children's rehabilitation centers of Minsk region

During the existence of the Children's Rehabilitation and Wellness Center "Zhdanovichi" (hereinafter referred to as the Center), many vivid and memorable traditions have developed. One of them is the creative action "Friendship Bridge". The friendship of the Center with the Embassy of the People's Republic of China lasts more than 20 years.

For three years, thanks to the charitable assistance of the Chinese Embassy, ​​the sports grounds of the Center have been restored: indoor football - in 2016, volleyball and basketball - in 2017, tennis - in 2018. With the help of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China, the sports grounds of the Center were restored: in futsal - in 2016, in volleyball and basketball - in 2017, in tennis - in 2018. A new stage in the humanitarian assistance of the Chinese Embassy was the acquisition of the latest-generation dental unit Siger for the Center in 2019. On September 18, 2019, a creative action was held dedicated to the commissioning of dental equipment.

The unit is equipped with a comfortable and high-tech patient chair with a memory function for 5 positions, 4 of which are programmable, combines excellent quality, ergonomics, reliability, functionality and resources for further modernization.

As part of the celebration of events dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the opening of the Nadezhda Children's Rehabilitation and Wellness Center, on September 23, 2019, the opening of the rope ladder “Stairway to Heaven” took place. This rope park was built thanks to the financial assistance of partner organizations in Germany. The park is located in the recreation center "Viliya". One of its distinguishing features is that it includes the Inclusion parkour, which will be used by children with disabilities.

Through their activities, Children's Rehabilitation and Health Centers help strengthen the image of the Republic of Belarus on the world stage.
