    According to the Health Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee, 2,566 disabled children under the age of 18 years living in Minsk need sanatorium treatment, of which 539 are disabled children with cerebral palsy (hereinafter referred to as cerebral palsy). At the same time, 1768 disabled children, including 426 children with a diagnosis of cerebral palsy and 131 children with a diagnosis of diabetes mellitus, are registered in need of sanatorium-resort treatment.
    In 2019, at the expense of the republican budget, 784 disabled children were sent by the representative office for sanatorium and resort treatment, including 769 children, together with one of the parents for medical reasons and 15 children, unaccompanied to children's sanatoriums. Of these, 128 children with a diagnosis of cerebral palsy were sent for sanatorium-resort treatment in the specialized sanatorium "Belarus" of the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus, located in Druskininkai, Republic of Lithuania.
    In 2019, for the sanatorium treatment of children with disabilities living in the city of Minsk, 640 vouchers were purchased from the republican budget from the republican budget: DUP "Sanatorium" Chonki "," Pines "of OJSC" Mogilevkhimvolokno "," Nadzeya UE Brestoblgaz, OJSC Sanatorium Ruzhansky, Dawn OJSC Belagrozdravnitsa, Belarus of the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus, DROTS Lesnaya Polyana, DROTs Nadezhda, etc.
    Children with diabetes are sent to a sanatorium-resort treatment in the sanatorium "Neman" and "Belorusochka" "Belprofsoyuzkurort", "Sluch", "Porechye" and "Sun" of OJSC Belagrozdravnitsa.
    In addition, in Minsk, at the expense of the budget of the city, annually in the summertime the rehabilitation of disabled children is organized, accompanied by one of the parents as part of family shifts in the health camps. Vouchers for children and their accompanying persons are allocated free of charge, medical selection and referral for rehabilitation are carried out by healthcare institutions.
    During the four summer shifts of 2019, rehabilitation was organized for 70 disabled children with disabilities of the musculoskeletal system (wheelchairs), accompanied by one of the parents in the Zvezdny health center of the Belaeronavigation state enterprise, where conditions for a barrier-free environment were created for this category of children.
    A family health shift was organized and financed from the budget of the city of Minsk and the republican budget together with one of the parents for 72 children with disabilities with diabetes at the Sputnik sanatorium of Minskremstroy OJSC, which provides a comfortable stay, diet, laboratory monitoring of blood sugar and medical support of an endocrinologist.
    In August 2019, on the basis of the city children's health center for medical rehabilitation Praleska health institution, the health committee of the Minsk city executive committee, a group of 17 children with cardiac disabilities was rehabilitated, accompanied by their parents.
    Disabled children are referred for medical rehabilitation by health facilities in the community.
    In 2019, 2903 children were sent for rehabilitation in the UZ "Minsk City Center for Medical Rehabilitation for Children with Psychoneurological Diseases", in the UZ "City Children's Center for Medical Rehabilitation" Praleska "- 2990 children with diseases of a pulmonological, gastroenterological, ophthalmological and orthopedic profile, of which 42 disabled people.
    In addition, 1794 children with diseases of various etiologies were sent for rehabilitation at the State Institution "Republican Children's Hospital for Medical Rehabilitation", located in the village of Ostroshitsky town and UZ "Republican Children's Center for Medical Rehabilitation", located in Myadel district.
    On February 18, 2020, a direct telephone line on the issues of sanatorium-resort treatment, rehabilitation and rehabilitation of children with disabilities will be held at the Contact Center information service of the Minsk City Executive Committee. Employees of the representative office of the Minsk City Administration of the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium-and-Resort Treatment of the Population and the Health Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee will take part in advising citizens on the indicated topics.
