It’s even more than two months before the summer health season, but now all the interested services of the region are actively working on preparations for the upcoming season to make the rest of the children truly useful and unforgettable.
In the summer, 63,657 children are planned to improve their health in the region (+426 people by 2019). In general, coverage with recovery will be 57% (2019 - 56%, 2018 - 54%). Of these: 1,462 children from among orphans, children left without parental care, 453 children are children with disabilities. 1435 teenagers will be rehabilitated in 90 labor and rest camps (hereinafter - LTO). In institutions of additional education for children and youth, 42 specialized camps with a coverage of 1163 children will function. Due to the great demand of the children of Grodno for rehabilitation in camps with round-the-clock stays and the inability to provide everyone with places, in 2019 a mechanism was developed for sending them to camps in other regions. About 1700 children, accompanied by teachers, will go to camps on the basis of educational institutions located in picturesque places, stationary camps.
Currently, the region is conducting information work on the provided services for the rehabilitation of children. The regional interactive map of the camps is updated on the site of the regional executive committee.
Since March, the media and regional organizations have been broadcasting the video "Boring Holidays for Moms and Dads".
To prepare the camps for the summer season in 2020, 597.5 thousand rubles were allocated from the regional budget. In addition, traditionally, funds for the preparation of the camps will come from the fund of the republican subbotnik.
Since March 15, monitoring trips of the regional interdepartmental group have been organized according to a schedule with a weekly analysis of readiness for the summer health campaign.
