On the organization of the rehabilitation of children of the Minsk region during the spring break

In the Minsk region, during the spring break, 318 health camps were organized, in which 9 276 children recovered, of which about half of the camps worked for rural children.
Activities for organizing the rehabilitation of children during the spring break of general secondary education institutions were carried out on the basis of orders of the education, sports and tourism departments of the district executive committees and approved work plans. Students were enrolled strictly according to the declarative principle with priority right to improve the health of children from large families (2,300 students) and low-income (405 people) families, orphans (182 students), disabled children (121 children), as well as students with whom individual preventive work (SOP - 323 people and IPR - 91 students).
Before the holidays, all educational institutions held safety lessons to teach students the rules of safe behavior during the spring break. Pupils and their legal representatives are informed about the employment of children during the holidays, schedules for public events, through parent meetings, design information stands, and by posting information on the websites of educational institutions. In all health camps, social passports of students, administration duty schedules were compiled, attendance records of pupils were kept.
 
In accordance with the epidemiological situation, the following activities were carried out: - daily conducted thermometry of students; - all health camps were equipped with antiseptic agents for treating hands; - daily 2 times a day, the railing of staircases, door handles, window sills was treated with disinfectants.
During the spring break, activities were organized aimed at the prevention of children's road traffic injuries, unlawful acts, the use of narcotic drugs and smoking mixtures. In all recreation camps, interdepartmental thematic events were held on safe behavior on roads, ponds, in the forest, and on the prevention of traffic accidents involving children and adolescents.
 
Nutrition in the health camps was organized on the basis of approximate diets, developed taking into account age categories, physiological needs of the child's body. This diet was developed on the basis of the principle of sparing nutrition, with the exception of the most difficult to digest and spicy dishes. The menu included fruits, various juices, bifidin. In each recreation camp, an education institution created a marriage committee. Laboratory control over the quality and safety of cooked food was carried out in accordance with the requirements of sanitary norms and rules. The requirements of fire and sanitary-epidemiological safety, safety measures in the organization of educational and sports and recreational activities were observed.
 
In general, the ongoing mass sports holidays, game programs, civic-patriotic, environmental events and other events have become a favorable area for students to fulfill their potential, to rest and improve their health.
