On the improvement of children in the Mogilev region during the second shift of the 2020 summer health campaign

For 2 health-improving shifts in the Mogilev region, 19338 children and adolescents were recovered, including in 16 stationary camps - 3608, in rented bases, including in sanatorium-resort organizations (sanatorium "Sosny" JSC "Mogilevkhimvolokno", "Dubrovenka" RUP "Mogilev branch of the Belarusian Railway", "Shinnik" JSC "Belshina") - 866 schoolchildren, 21 specialized camps (for a period of at least 9 days) - 587 people were organized, 419 day camps also worked, in which 9978 people had a rest.
Of the pupils of sports institutions of the region, 4091 people were recovered in two shifts, or 21.1 percent of the total number of recovered people, including 618 people were recovered in round-the-clock sports and health camps, of which 252 people were in camps for a period of at least 9 days. 247 people improved their health in round-the-clock camps for a period of 18 days or more. In sports and recreation camps with a day stay, 3473 people were rehabilitated.
In total, there were 76 camps with round-the-clock stay, where 5887 people were rehabilitated and 467 camps with a day stay, in which 13451 people were rehabilitated. Particular attention is paid to the improvement of the inmates of boarding schools. During the current period, 622 people from the number of orphans and children left without parental care have undergone rehabilitation. Also, 144 disabled children rested in the camps with day and round-the-clock stay.
During the summer health campaign in 2020, the camps continued to work according to profiles, areas of activity. The work of camps for environmental studies, art, defense-sports and other profiles was organized, in which 9828 children underwent health improvement, of which 1005 in round-the-clock camps.
During this period, 102 labor and recreation camps functioned, in which 1295 adolescents aged 14 to 18 worked in the sowing fields of agricultural enterprises, workshops of state educational institutions, in production areas and forest lands of state forestry institutions, and were engaged in landscaping.
In order to form a responsible attitude towards their health and a culture of safe life among pupils, safety informants were held every day in the camps: "When will the mask help", "Coronovirus: what you need to know", "Clean hands are your protection" ", "Traffic rules need to be known and followed", "Epidemiological regime", "Safety rules in hot weather",       "Holidays without smoke and fire", "Safety rules in a thunderstorm" and others.
An important area of ​​work on the formation of a culture of a healthy lifestyle has become activities aimed at preventing bad habits and addictions: the bra-ring "Be able to say" NO "to bad habits, the educational game" A teenager in the world of bad habits ", the quiz" Healthy lifestyle ", dispute "Sport or cigarette - what do you choose", game "Me and my bad habits." A viewing of presentations on the dangers of smoking was organized within the framework of the republican anti-tobacco information and educational campaign "Belarus against tobacco" on the healthy lifestyle Internet portal "Healthy People".
