Dedicated camp of the city of Minsk in camps with sun and 24-hour training during the spring holidays 2023-2024 of the school year

In order to ensure high-quality organization of health and recreation for children and adolescents during the spring holidays of the 2023-2024 academic year, and to create conditions for active developmental leisure for students, from March 24 to March 31, 2024, 263 health camps were organized with daytime and round-the-clock stays for children, in including:
- 260 day camps, organized on the basis of institutions of general secondary education, additional education for children and youth, are planned to improve the health of more than 12,700 metropolitan schoolchildren;
- 3 round-the-clock specialized camps lasting 9 days, organized on the basis of country health camps, where more than 267 children in Minsk were healed.
 
In day camps, children are provided with three nutritious meals a day (breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack).
 
In each educational institution, a special health and educational program has been developed for students, including physical education, sports and cultural events, games, competitions, tournaments, classes in interest associations: clubs, sections, clubs, watching feature films and documentaries, holding themed discos and other events.
 
More than 267 Minsk schoolchildren had the opportunity to spend 9 days usefully, improve their health and relax during the spring holidays not in the city, but in the countryside in the health camps “Horizon” of the branch of the open joint-stock company “N Holding” Social complex, “Druzhba” "at the recreation center "Druzhba" of the republican unitary postal enterprise "Belpochta", as well as "Polytechnic" on the basis of the student sanatorium-preventorium "Polytechnic" of BNTU.
 
The Horizon health camp opened its twelfth off-season health session during the spring break of 2024. This time, Horizont has organized a new exciting program for the children, “A round-the-world expedition with the Horizont research center.” Together with Fiona Fog, the great-great-granddaughter of the hero of the famous novel “Around the World in 80 Days,” the guys set off on an exciting journey, during which they will visit all corners of our planet, get acquainted with the diverse cultures and history of many countries.
 
Only by overcoming all the exciting challenges will young travelers be able to help Fiona break the record of her famous great-great-grandfather and visit the whole world in 8 days.
 
Little travelers will also receive training within the framework of educational programs in various fields: social sciences, humanities, science and mathematics, and cultural and leisure activities.
 
The social and humanitarian profile combines the educational programs “Magic Camp”, “Horizont New”, “Blogger Camp”. Travelers from Magic Camp will be able to immerse themselves in the language environment, overcome the language barrier and improve their level of English. The youngest participants in the round-the-world expedition from the Horizont New program will learn mental arithmetic, speed reading, and will be able to develop memory and attention.
 
Participants of the expedition from the natural and mathematical profile of the IT camp program will learn the basics of robotics and programming and will be able to write their own game.
The health camp “Polytechnic” on the basis of the student sanatorium-preventorium of the Belarusian National Technical University holds the traditional spring vacation session “China without borders” for children, where master classes on the Chinese language and the study of Chinese culture are organized for schoolchildren.
 
A 9-day camp with round-the-clock stay will also be organized at the Druzhba health camp of the RUE Belpochta at the Druzhba recreation center of the Belpochta Republican Unitary Postal Enterprise. Profile shift program “Together – we are strong!” is focused on the formation of an active civic position and patriotic feelings among students, to form civic responsibility, patriotism, national identity, interest in the history of their small homeland, respect for its traditions and culture.
 
As part of the shift, classes will be organized for children in associations of interests - an hour of creativity “I draw Belarus”, a drawing competition “Nature of my native land”, a round table “Heroes in my family”, an information digest “Leader’s Formula”, “True to Traditions”, a quest -game “I am a citizen of the Republic of Belarus”, quiz “Symbols of my Motherland”, intellectual game “Through the pages of the Red Book of Belarus”, etc.
 
In the streets, round-the-clock training in the camps for recreational activities is provided with 5 meals a day of balanced food, which is based on natural factors, active supplements, food and physical education. on-participation measures will ensure good health effects.
