On the territory of the Minsk region there are 30 sanatorium-resort and 72 health-improving organizations that have confirmed their status as a result of state certification. Of the 30 health resort organizations, 10 have the highest category status.

 

In 2023, 350.0 thousand people underwent sanatorium-resort treatment and rehabilitation in the health resorts of the Minsk region, revenue from the sale of services amounted to 352.1 million rubles, of which 295.7 thousand were at the expense of legal entities and individuals ( 233.7 million rubles); including at the expense of the republican budget and the state extra-budgetary fund for social protection of the population of the Republic of Belarus - 54.3 thousand people (65,603.4 thousand rubles).

 

For the same period in 2022 - 338.0 thousand people (284.7 million rubles).

 

Occupancy in 2023 was 81.5% (in 2022 - 78.4%).

 

In 2023, 71 thousand foreign citizens from 56 countries took advantage of sanatorium-resort treatment and recovery. Revenue from sales of services in the reporting year amounted to 109.2 million rubles, which is an increase of 29.0 million rubles compared to 2022. 93% of foreign citizens are citizens of the Russian Federation.

 

In 2023, 70.0 million rubles were used from various sources to strengthen the material and technical base of sanatorium and resort organizations (2022 - 39.0 million rubles).

During the holiday period, 112.9 thousand residents of the Minsk region were provided for sanatorium-resort treatment and healthcare (in 2022 - 110.2 thousand residents). 26.2 million rubles (for 2022 - 21.9 million rubles) were raised for the future. In 2023, 581 disabled children were provided with sanatorium-resort treatment (for 2022 - 660 disabled children), and 454 children living and studying in radionuclide-contaminated areas of the region (for 2022 - 461 children).

An important result of the work in the reporting period is the full provision of summer health care to all children of the Minsk region in camps of all types.

During the summer health campaign of 2023, 64.6 thousand children were healed in 1,128 health camps in the Minsk region, which amounted to 102.6% of the plan.

The focus was on socially disadvantaged categories of children. During the summer, 1,378 disabled children and 2,421 children left without parental care and orphans had a rest.

The share of state funds in the total cost of vouchers to camps of all types was more than 50 percent; the state allocated 9.5 million rubles.
