On April 20, 2019, representatives of the Minsk City Administration of the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium-Resort Treatment of the population went to the Republican Subbotnik. It was no coincidence that the venue for the cleanup was the children's camp “Palytechnic” of the Belarusian National Technical University.
The camp is located on the basis of the student sanatorium-preventorium "Palytechnic", and throughout the year students of the capital's higher educational institutions undergo rehabilitation there.
In the summer period of 2018, "Palytechnic" began to function as a health camp for the first time and accepted 924 Minsk schoolchildren for rehabilitation.
The children live in the well-equipped building of the sanatorium-dispensary of the Belarusian National Technical University. Accommodates 4 people in the room. The body is heated, provided with hot and cold water.
In the children's camp "Palytechnic" there is a pedagogical team of the Belarusian State Pedagogical University. M. Tanka "Vetraz", multiple winner in the nomination "The best pedagogical team" of the Republic of Belarus and the city of Minsk.
In the summer of 2019, in "Palytechnic", in four-shift mode, it is planned to improve 960 children. In addition, on the basis of the recreation camp "Palytechnic" there will be a profile 9-day camp, where another 240 students from Minsk schools can relax.
The acceptance of the camp is scheduled for May 20, and the first camp shift will open on June 2, 2019.
The staff of the Belarusian National Technical University has already done a lot for "Palytechnic", but much remains to be done.
Workers of the Minsk City Administration of the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium-Resort Treatment also took part in the improvement of the camp: they raked up last year’s foliage, collected fallen branches. In short, they put things in order.
