On the activities of the sanatorium and resort organizations of the Minsk region for 2019

In 2019, 306.6 thousand people underwent spa treatment and rehabilitation at the sanatorium and resort organizations of the Minsk region (revenue from the sale of services amounted to 213 856.9 thousand rubles), including: at the expense of legal entities and individuals 254.1 thousand people were improved (160 150.6 thousand rubles); 52.5 thousand people (53 706.3 thousand rubles) at the expense of the republican budget and funds of the state extra-budgetary fund for social protection of the population of the Republic of Belarus.
In 2019, 15.1 thousand residents of the Minsk region, including: 6.9 thousand children, were provided with sanatorium-resort treatment and rehabilitation in the health resorts of the republic. Used 10 394.0 thousand rubles.
The organization of sanatorium treatment of children with disabilities aged 3 to 18 years is under special control in the region: in 2019, 615 disabled children residing in the Minsk Region were provided with sanatorium treatment.
To date, 1.1 thousand children live in the territories contaminated with radionuclides in the Minsk region. In 2019, 662 children residing and studying in the territories of the region contaminated with radionuclides underwent sanatorium-resort treatment and rehabilitation (100% coverage).
In 2019, the mission aimed at the spa treatment of 10 disabled veterans and participants of the Great Patriotic War. An important direction in the work of sanatorium-resort and health-improving organizations of the republic is the export of services. Over the past year, 85.6 thousand citizens of the countries of near and far abroad underwent sanatorium-resort treatment and rehabilitation in health resorts of the Minsk region. The export of sanatorium-resort and health-improving services in 2019 amounted to 78,386.9 thousand rubles, the growth rate was 114.6 percent.
In the Minsk region, a stable and break-even operation of sanatorium-resort organizations was ensured; their average occupancy rate for 2019 amounted to 84.4 percent.
