    In 2020, sanatorium and health resort organizations of the Gomel region sold 69399 vouchers, of which 33926 vouchers were issued to the Republican Center for Wellness and Sanatorium-Resort Treatment of the Population, 20491 vouchers for legal entities, 14982 vouchers for individuals. The volume of proceeds from the sale of sanatorium-resort and health-improving services amounted to 55.43 million rubles.
    8,718 vouchers were sold to citizens of the near and far abroad, the export proceeds amounted to 7.08 million rubles.
    In order to increase the demand for sanatorium and health services for the citizens of the Republic of Belarus and foreign citizens, the health resorts of the Gomel region continue to work on creating the most attractive, comfortable conditions for vacationers, strengthening the material, technical and medical base, mastering and introducing modern methods of treatment.
    So, SKUP "Sanatorium "Silver Keys" applied a new type of service - "Wellness voucher" - rest with the included complex of sports and health services, new cosmetic services with the program                "Carboxytherapy"; the branch of the sanatorium "Golden Sands" named after IM Zolotukhin JSC "Gomelpromstroy" purchased an oxygen cocktail, provides SPA services "Kedrovaya Bochka", sanatorium "Solnechny Bereg" USO RUE "PO Belorusneft" introduced a system for providing services for electronic bracelets, presented a new program "Wellness SPA-tour"; sanatorium "Sosny" JSC "Mozyr Oil Refinery" purchased an ultrasound machine and a hyperbaric chamber; Municipal Unitary Enterprise DROTS "Ptich" purchased devices for rendering medical services "Electroson", "Magnitofotospok", "Bactericidal flowing air recirculator"; PAMC "Romance Lux" has introduced and uses over-the-air laser irradiation. 
    Availability of material and technical base, medical equipment, natural medicinal resources allow providing services in full in medical profiles. In addition, the sanatorium "Golden Sands" them. THEM. Zolotukhina JSC "Gomelpromstroy" and the sanatorium "Solnechny Bereg" USO RUE "PO" Belorusneft "have developed and are working on new programs for the rehabilitation of patients who have undergone COVID-19; DUP "Sanatorium "Pridneprovsky" has applied new methods and programs: "Lung recovery", express diagnostics of COVID-19, determination of vitamin D in the blood.
    Work continued on creating a barrier-free (universal) environment in sanatorium-resort and health-improving organizations: the branch of JSC "Gomselmash" Sanatorium "Mashinostroitel" equipped two 2-bed rooms for people with limited mobility, work is underway to build a 2-bed room for people with disabilities - wheelchair users, a passenger elevator is installed in the dormitory, equipped with a control panel for people with disabilities; in KUP DROTS "Praleska" renovation of a residential block (two rooms for 4 persons) for the visually impaired and hearing impaired has been made.
    In total, in 2020, almost 7 million rubles were used to strengthen the material and technical base of sanatorium and resort and health organizations in the Gomel region.
