On the results of the improvement of the population of the Mogilev region for 2020

In 2020, 57,323 people were rehabilitated with the use of state social insurance funds and the republican budget in the Mogilev region.
At the expense of state social insurance funds, 5892 people were sent to health resort treatment and rehabilitation through the commissions for health improvement and sanatorium-and-spa treatment of enterprises, organizations, from among working citizens and their minor children.
Of the total number of vouchers received using state social insurance funds, 53.2% (3070 vouchers) were issued free of charge to children, 10.6% (611) were paid in the amount of 15% of their total cost by parents traveling with children and 36, 2% (2093) were issued to part-time workers.
Particular attention is paid to the improvement of the most socially vulnerable categories of citizens. First of all, these are children under the age of 18 who have been identified as disabled.
Over the past year, taking into account the epidemiological situation, 266 disabled children were sent for sanatorium-resort treatment free of charge, including 5 children who were recovered by issuing vouchers at the place of work of one of the parents.
Also, free of charge, at the expense of the republican budget, vouchers for sanatorium-resort treatment were allocated for 5 invalids and participants of the Great Patriotic War and their equivalent and 753 non-working invalids of I and II groups who have the right to priority provision with vouchers.
With partial payment of the cost of the vouchers, 1,081 people were sent to sanatorium-resort organizations, from among the unemployed labor veterans and disabled persons of the III group, including those who are pensioners of the security forces.
Particular attention is paid to the rehabilitation of the population affected by the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, and especially children living and studying in areas contaminated with radionuclides.
For this category of children, an annual free spa treatment and health improvement is provided - one of the most significant and effective measures to reduce the negative impact of the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster on their health.
In 2020, 7,541 people underwent sanatorium-resort treatment and health improvement in the region, of which such children, including 518 of preschool and primary school age, 2 disabled children (Article 18), 163 aged from 3 to 6 years, accompanied by one from the parents. Also, 8 adults, non-working disabled people of I and II groups, who suffered from the Chernobyl disaster, were recovered (Article 18).
Also, over the past year, 438 students and 46285 schoolchildren were rehabilitated in health camps.
Of the total number of the population of the Mogilev region with the use of state funds, 90.7 percent are children.
In total, 12.6 million rubles were spent on sanatorium treatment and health improvement of the population of the Mogilev region in 2020. public funds, of which 605.0 thousand rubles were partially reimbursed by citizens. or 4.8%.
