Improving the health of children in the Minsk region during the winter holidays of the 2021-2022 academic year

In the Minsk region, during the winter holidays from December 25, 2021 to January 9, 2022, health camps with day stay for children were organized on the basis of general secondary education institutions, institutions of additional education for children and youth, in which it is planned to improve the health of 9,680 students in 316 camps, from more than half of them are for rural children.
All health camps have created the necessary conditions to prevent the introduction and spread of COVID-19. All camps are equipped with personal protective equipment: antiseptics, masks, gloves. The arrangement of furniture in the premises was carried out in compliance with the principle of social distancing. Dispensers with antiseptic hand sanitizer have been installed at the entrances to buildings. Daily “morning filters” are carried out with mandatory thermometry in order to identify and prevent pupils with signs of respiratory diseases from entering the detachment. Playrooms are assigned to each detachment, the stay of children in strictly assigned places is organized. The association of pupils from different units into one group is excluded. Conducting mass cultural and sports and recreational events are organized in the open air.
In children's health camps, orphans, disabled children, children from low-income, large families are primarily enrolled. Much attention is paid to the employment and organization of leisure activities during the holidays of adolescents prone to deviant behavior, children in a socially dangerous situation, registered with the Inspectorate for Affairs. During the holidays, such children have the opportunity to attend associations of interest, participate in trainings, consultations of psychologists and social pedagogues.
The average ticket price was 30 rubles 82 kopecks, of which the parental supplement was 5 rubles 77 kopecks.
In order to strengthen the physical, mental and emotional health of children, during the winter holidays, conditions have been created for the comprehensive development of the individual, the formation of positive personality traits of students.
During the winter holidays, a huge number of cultural and entertainment events are organized. Most of which are devoted to the New Year theme.
Thus, schoolchildren from the Minsk region will become guests of the New Year's charity event "Our Children", take part in the republican New Year's ball at the Palace of the Republic. Delegations of students of the region were formed from among orphans left without parental care, students-winners of olympiads, creative competitions, festivals, sports competitions, students who showed themselves in studies and social work.
At the district level, various New Year projects, master classes, quests, etc. are also organized.
In general, the ongoing mass holidays, game programs, civil-patriotic, environmental actions and other events become a favorable area for self-realization of students, their recreation and health improvement. Each educational institution during the winter holidays is a comfortable and safe place for children to stay.
