In 2021, the Grodno Regional Department of the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium-Resort Treatment of the Population directed 10,582 people to improve their health.

Including at the expense of state social insurance funds, 6,082 people received sanatorium treatment. Of these, 3,098 children, including in children's sanatoriums - 2,040, in sanatoriums (departments) of mother and child - 916 children.

Within the framework of the State Program for overcoming the consequences of the catastrophe at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, 1,282 people were rehabilitated. Including in organized groups - 1,123 children living or studying in the contaminated areas. For recovery, they went to children's rehabilitation and health centers: Lesnaya Polyana, Zhdanovichi, Nadezhda.

At the expense of the republican budget, 2,444 veterans received sanatorium-and-spa treatment, including 624 disabled people of groups I-II and war veterans, 5 disabled people and participants in the Great Patriotic War. Most of the vacationers were taken by the sanatoriums of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection: "Berezina", "Belaya Vezha", "Vyazhuti", "Yaselda".

Particular attention was paid to the rehabilitation of disabled children. During the year, 395 disabled children with accompanying persons received sanatorium treatment.

In children's health camps of all types, 47,921 children improved their health.

In 2022, work to provide the population of the region with sanatorium-and spa treatment will continue.
