For the 1st quarter of 2022, sanatorium-resort and health-improving organizations of the Gomel region sold 21,487 vouchers, of which 9,924 vouchers were sold to the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium-Resort Treatment of the Population, 5,410 vouchers to legal entities, and 6,153 vouchers to individuals. The increase in the sale of vouchers for legal entities amounted to 151.2% compared to the same period in 2021. The volume of revenue from the sale of sanatorium and health services amounted to 16.80 million rubles, or 123.5% compared to the same period in 2021.

        3,030 vouchers were sold to foreign citizens, revenue from the sale of services amounted to 2.86 million rubles, or 241.7% compared to the same period in 2021, including the provision of additional paid medical services in the amount of 452.8 thousand rubles.

        The average occupancy rate of health resorts in the Gomel region for the 1st quarter of 2022 was 72.4% (66.2% in the 1st quarter of 2021).

        In order to ensure stable break-even work, increase the demand for health resort and health services, increase the volume of income from the services provided by the health resorts of the Gomel region, work continues to develop the material and technical base, expand the list of services provided. Thus, in the 1st quarter of 2021, more than 1.0 million rubles were allocated and used from various sources to strengthen the material and technical base of sanatorium-resort and health-improving organizations, including the creation of conditions for a barrier-free environment for physically weakened persons - 29, 1 thousand rubles.

        In the 1st quarter of 2022, in accordance with the Decree of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated 01.11.2006 No. 1450 “On state certification of sanatorium and health resorts and health organizations”, the municipal unitary enterprise “Children’s Rehabilitation and Health Center “Ptich” and the recreation center “Lesnye gave" of a separate structural subdivision (branch) Sanatorium RUE "Gomel branch of the Belarusian Railway". The work carried out to strengthen the material, technical and medical base allowed the HICC "Ptich" to upgrade its category from the second to the first, confirming the status of "sanatorium-resort organization for children", and the recreation center "Lesnye Dali" confirmed the status of "health-improving organization for adults" the third categories.

        In the sanatorium-resort and health-improving organizations of the Gomel region, work will continue in the future to create the most attractive and comfortable conditions for citizens to stay on vacation.
