Preparation of camps in the Vitebsk region for the summer recreation season 2022

In the Vitebsk region, work is in full swing to prepare health camps for work in the summer of 2022. It is planned to work 31 stationary health camps and 3 camps at rented bases for the rehabilitation of more than 16 thousand children. Special attention will traditionally be paid to children in need of social protection: it is planned to improve the health of 1,500 orphans and those left without parental care, 350 disabled children.

105.5 thousand rubles of state funds were allocated for the preparation and strengthening of the material and technical base of suburban health camps, 140.0 thousand rubles from the regional budget and about 3500.0 thousand rubles are planned to be allocated by the owners of the facilities for these purposes.

60.0 thousand rubles were allocated from the regional budget for additional payment of vouchers for disabled children, children from large families, children with special needs of psychophysical development of employees of budgetary organizations financed from the regional budget, children whose both parents are not working disabled people or pensioners, children left without parental care and under the care of non-working pensioners. Funds are provided for the rehabilitation of 30 disabled children diagnosed with cerebral palsy and disorders of the musculoskeletal system, organs of vision and organs of hearing. Two specialists accompanying them will be sent with a group of children. The children will undergo rehabilitation at the Raduga camp of the Vitebsk Regional Children's Clinical Center, and for wheelchair-bound children and adults accompanying them, recreation will be organized at the Emerald camp of the Education Department of Novopolotsk, in which a building has been renovated through UNICEF, playground, barrier-free environment created.

In 2022, for the first time, a health camp will host children, organized on a rented basis of a rural school in the village of Ustye, Orsha district, with the beautiful name "Katyusha". From June 20, 80 children will improve their health in the camp in two shifts. Currently, preparatory work is underway to prepare the camp and purchase the necessary equipment.

A large-scale preparation for the health season is currently underway at the Yunost health camp of RUE Vitebskenergo. The buildings have been repaired, a new sports ground with exercise equipment and a modern stadium has been built.

After a 2-year break, the Burevestnik recreation camp of Vitebsk Carpets OJSC will resume its work.
