The work of health resort organizations in the Minsk region in the first quarter of 2022

The occupancy in the first quarter of 2022 was 63%. 63.3 thousand people (47,772.5 thousand rubles) underwent sanatorium treatment and rehabilitation; at the expense of funds of legal entities and individuals - 48.6 thousand people (25,376.6 thousand rubles); at the expense of the republican budget and the state non-budgetary fund of social protection of the population of the Republic of Belarus - 14.7 thousand people (11,585.6 thousand rubles).

To ensure the recovery growth of sanatorium-and-spa treatment and the improvement of the population, sanatoriums are developing new types of health-improving vouchers with a medical program.

For reference: in the State Institution “Sanatorium “Yunost” of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus, it regularly introduces new forms of a health-improving product and develops additional tourist products. During the previous year, the following new services were introduced:

- procedures at the Medical Center: manual therapy (diagnostics, manual therapy sessions including taping of problem areas, muscle blockades of trigger zones), an innovative procedure of narrow-focus shock wave therapy on the BTL device, diagnostics by an orthopedic traumatologist, intra-articular administration of medicines and synovial fluid prostheses, acupuncture muscle relaxation, auricular reflexology for overweight, a session of complex individual psychotherapy for neurological, psychosomatic and behavioral disorders, ultrasound densitometry, diagnostics of osteoporosis.

- procedures in the "Slavic SPA": thalassotherapy, balneotherapy, algotherapy, breast massage, aesthetic taping. The center is constantly developing in new directions and expanding the range of services using the rituals of "Slavic Health" (Ayurveda).

Amber aerotherapy, general thermotherapy (general mud wraps), immersion baths 45 days after the illness, collective psychotherapy are widely used by the branch of the Sanatorium Sosnovy Bor of JSC Belagrozdravnitsa for the effective treatment of patients who have had pneumonia. On a paid basis - intravenous drip infusions, including ozonized saline; classical acupuncture, hirudotherapy.

In the health resorts of the SKUP "Belprofsoyuzkurort", in order to improve the health of people who have had diseases associated with coronavirus infection, in the first quarter of this year, the program "Improvement of the lungs" was updated and three new programs were introduced: "Healthy joints and spine", "Healthy blood vessels", "Cleansing the body ".

In the first quarter of 2022, more than 8 thousand foreign citizens (11,762.2 thousand rubles) received sanatorium treatment and rehabilitation in the sanatoriums of the region, for the same period in 2021 - 4.5 thousand foreign citizens (5,252.6 thousand . rubles).

For reference: Health resorts took part in the international exhibition-fair of tourist services "Rest-2022", which opened on March 31 in Minsk. This is a business platform for countries, regions and travel companies from all over the world that present their products and services on the Belarusian market.

To ensure a wide information and advertising campaign about nearby tourist and cultural attractions, sanatorium-resort and health-improving organizations of the Minsk region offer tours around the territory of the Republic of Belarus on an ongoing basis.

In order to ensure stable, break-even work, increase the demand for sanatorium and health resort services and increase the volume of income from the services provided, health resorts of the Minsk region are constantly systematically working to develop the material and technical base, expand the list of services provided, and introduce innovative technologies for resort therapy.

For reference: in the sanatoriums of JSC Belagrozdravnitsa in the first quarter of this year, the allocated funds were used to repair the number of rooms, treatment rooms and utility rooms. A cardiographic couch and a leg cuff were purchased at the Sosnovy Bor Sanatorium branch of JSC Belagrozdravnitsa; The branch of Children's Sanatorium Sluch of OAO Belagrozdravnitsa purchased bactericidal air recirculators (8 pcs), massage pillows (2 pcs).

443.8 thousand rubles were allocated to strengthen the material and technical base of the JLLC "HICC" Nadezhda ". Also, JLLC "HEC "Nadezhda" received financial support from the RSEOO "Living Partnership" in the amount of 500 thousand rubles.

According to the State Program to Overcome the Consequences of the Catastrophe at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant for 2021-2025, in 2022 it is planned to implement the project "Reconstruction of the dormitory building No. 2 with the adjoining premises of the gym, swimming pool and boiler room in the Municipal Unitary Enterprise "HICC "Zhdanovichi" ".

In the first quarter of 2022, prices for spa and wellness services did not increase. A discount, bonus loyalty program was used (discounts for customers with early bookings, members of the federation of trade unions and their children 25% discount, "regular guest" program 5% discount).
