Preparations for the 2022 summer health campaign in the Brest region

Summer is a time and opportunity for children to improve their health, make new acquaintances and experiences that will remain in their memory for a lifetime. One of the great options for organizing leisure activities for children at this time is a health camp. Having sent the child to the camp, parents can be sure that he is provided with a full-fledged hot meal, useful, interesting activities and outdoor activities.
It is planned to improve the health of 61.5 thousand children in the Brest region in the summer, including 40.3 thousand people in health camps with day stay and 21.2 thousand people with round-the-clock stay. 7.7 million rubles were allocated from the republican budget to reduce the cost of vouchers to camps in the Brest region.
In the summer period of the current year, it is planned to open 22 stationary health camps in the region with a capacity of 3563 beds per shift, including one new regional health camp "Yuventa" in the Ivatsevichy district on the basis of the closed State Educational Institution "Bytensky Orphanage".
At present, the territorial institutions of the State Sanitary Inspection are assessing the quality of the preparation of the camps and the implementation of the sent letters / instructions to eliminate existing violations, as well as the Long-term plan to strengthen the material and technical base of health camps in the Brest region for 2022-2024, approved by the chairman of the Brest Regional Executive Committee on 13.12. 2021.
According to preliminary data, it is planned to allocate 3.8 million rubles for the preparation of country health camps in 2022, of which the largest share is local budget funds - 76.7% (2.9 million rubles), the funds of the owners are 20, 1% (763.1 thousand rubles), funds of the republican budget - 2.1% (80.4 thousand rubles), sponsorship - 1.1% (40.8 thousand rubles).
It should be noted that this year, 1.3 million rubles were allocated from the local budget for the overhaul of the Salyut health camp of the Education Department of the Brest City Executive Committee, and 1.2 million rubles were allocated for the preparation of the Yuventa regional health camp . Significant funds are invested from year to year to develop and strengthen the material and technical base in such organizations as RUE "Brestenergo" Baranovichi electrical networks for the preparation of the recreation camp "Electron" (in 2022 -250.0 thousand rubles), RUE "Baranovichskoe branch of the Belarusian Railways" for the preparation of the health camp "Issa" (in 2022 - 238.6 thousand rubles).
A positive example is the attraction of sponsorship for the preparation of the OL "Eaglet" of the State Unitary Enterprise "Brest boiler industry". Thus, the leadership of the camp already this year attracted 40.8 thousand rubles. sponsorship, as well as 98.2 thousand rubles. owner's funds (including gratuitous transfer within one owner) for the replacement of the camp fence, repair work of one of the residential buildings, an office building, a large canteen hall and other repair work.
On April 20, 2022, the decision of the Brest Regional Executive Committee No. 199 "On the organization of children's health improvement in the summer period of 2022" was adopted, in which all interested services were instructed to organize a summer health campaign of the current year. At the level of city district executive committees, decisions are also made on the above issue, commissions are created for the acceptance of health camps.
Particular attention will be paid to improving the health of children of socially unprotected categories and organizing labor and recreation camps. In the summer, it is planned to improve the health of 1,400 orphans and children left without parental care, 580 disabled children. In addition, as applications are received, it is planned to meet the need for the improvement of children on preventive records, children who are in a socially dangerous situation and from large families as much as possible.
To reduce the cost of vouchers to health camps for children of public sector employees, to pay up to the full cost of vouchers for socially vulnerable categories, to purchase vouchers for boarding school students, 493.4 thousand rubles are provided from the local budget.
City district executive committees create interdepartmental commissions for the acceptance of health camps and for the implementation of constant monitoring to ensure the safety of life and health of children, their safe stay in health camps, including proper and high-quality nutrition, as well as staffing health camps with qualified cadres of educators, cooks and medical workers. Regional services will also monitor the activities of health camps.
The most important task of all concerned services is to organize a safe, interesting holiday for children this summer, which they will remember for a lifetime only with positive impressions.
