The results of the summer rehabilitation of children in Minsk in 2022

The rehabilitation of the children of the capital was carried out by 678 camps with day and round-the-clock stay.

The preparation of out-of-town health camps for the summer season was carried out in accordance with the recommendations of the sanitary and fire supervision authorities to meet the requirements for the arrangement of children's recreation areas.

To assist in the preparation of camps with round-the-clock stay for work in the summer period of 2022, funds were allocated from consolidated sources in the amount of 6453.1 thousand rubles.

During the season improved in camps of various types

67993 children, which amounted to 107.1% of the plan for the season, including 38775 children (101.4%) in camps with round-the-clock stay - 29218 children (115.7%) with daytime stay.

The work of health camps with round-the-clock stay was organized in 3-5 shifts, the duration of shifts was from 18 to 21 days.

The activities of the camps were carried out taking into account the implementation in full of the recommended sanitary and hygienic and top-priority epidemically significant measures.

The pupils observed the principles of social distancing; when catering, the placement of children in the dining halls was carried out taking into account the necessary distance. Provided control over the condition of children by medical workers.

In order to maximize the coverage of recreational activities for children in need of additional measures of social support, the decision of the Minsk City Council of Deputies dated November 16, 2016 No. 243 “On the establishment of social support measures for certain categories of citizens” provides for the allocation of funds from the budget of Minsk to reduce the cost of purchasing vouchers to health camps with round-the-clock stay for these categories of children.

1,366 orphans and children under guardianship were rehabilitated in camps with daytime and round-the-clock stay, which amounted to 100.5% of what was planned for the season.

The practice of improving the health of disabled children who were sent to camps with day (based on correctional and developmental education centers) and round-the-clock stay together with teachers of boarding schools continued. In total, 1076 children from the category of disabled children were rehabilitated, which amounted to 111.6% of the planned.

Children of state employees of municipal property organizations received additional payments from the city budget when purchasing vouchers to country camps in the amount of up to 128 rubles per 1 voucher. 2225 children used this type of assistance.

In order to prevent delinquency and prevent antisocial behavior of adolescents, using the city budget and state funds, 912 children, registered in various types of records and brought up in dysfunctional families, were sent to health camps with daytime and round-the-clock stays.

Traditionally, on the basis of the student sanatorium-dispensary "Polytechnic" BNTU, the work of the Patriot inter-district defense and sports camp was organized and financed at the expense of the city budget and the republican budget.

70 adolescents who require special social and pedagogical attention and are engaged in pre-conscription training centers in the capital.

To meet the needs of children in various types of activities and to acquire useful skills, 135 labor and recreation camps (teams) with daytime and round-the-clock stay were organized, in which 1,461 teenagers improved their health.

Jobs, in accordance with the list approved by the Minsk City Executive Committee, were provided mainly by educational institutions, where children were hired as technical personnel. Also carried out work on the repair and binding of books, teaching aids in school libraries. The average salary of pupils per shift ranged from 180 to 260 rubles.

On the terms of the contracts signed, jobs were provided by the structural divisions of the state association "Minsk City Housing" and PKUP "Minskzelenstroy".

At the bases of camps with round-the-clock stay "Forest"

TPKUP Khladokombinat No. 2, Optimist JSC Minsk Tractor Plant and Mechta JSC Minsk Grain Plant organized work and rest service teams for 30 teenagers who performed work on cleaning office premises.

The leading positions in terms of mass deployment are traditionally occupied by sports and recreation camps with daytime and round-the-clock stay, organized by structural divisions of the Sports and Tourism Department of the Minsk City Executive Committee, in which 11,925 children have been improved. Together with the children, the coaching and teaching staff of specialized educational and sports institutions and secondary schools - schools of the Olympic reserve, went to the camps, ensuring the continuation of the training process in the summer.

Pedagogical strategy of the summer health campaign

2022 was determined by the theme of the Year of Historical Memory.

When planning the work of the camps, special attention was paid to civil-patriotic events, the issues of the genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War: reading contests “Reading about the war”, exhibitions of creative works “Remember, honor, be proud!”, thematic round tables, etc.

Actions were taken to improve the graves (common graves at the Chernihiv and Kozyrev cemeteries) and put in order the memorial plaques of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War.
