A joint meeting of the commission on juvenile affairs and the interdepartmental council on health improvement and sanatorium treatment of the population was held in Grodno. The results of the implementation of the activities of the regional project "Summer-2022", the rehabilitation of children during the summer holidays were summed up.

- The most interesting and bright time for children - summer holidays - has come to an end. We seriously prepared for them. I think that the summer health campaign was carried out at a good level. Each entity that took part in it created worthy conditions in order to ensure the safety of children, their leisure and recovery during the summer health campaign in 2022, - said Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee Viktor Pranyuk.

Anatoly Gonchar, Head of the Grodno Regional Department of the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium-Resort Treatment of the Population, made the keynote speech. He assessed the past health campaign as worthy and successful. It took place in the regime of relative sanitary and epidemiological well-being. Emergencies and incidents in the camps were not registered. This is the result of the work of all interested government bodies together with the owners. Safe conditions for our children's stay were created. During the campaign, much attention was paid to the medical support of the camps. As a result, healthcare professionals analyzed how pronounced the healing effect of the campaign was. About 12 thousand children were examined throughout the region, a pronounced health effect was recorded in 91 percent of the pupils.

The good news for us was the fact that, following the results of the Republican competition for the best health camp, two camps in the Grodno region - "Forest" in the Slonim region and "Suzorye" in the Grodno region - won in the nominations "The best medical care for children in a health camp" and "The best catering in the health camp.

At the joint meeting, the best ones following the results of the summer, including specialists from the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium-Resort Treatment of the Population, were awarded well-deserved awards. Tasks for the next year 2023 have been determined.
