The work of sanatorium-resort and health-improving organizations of the Gomel region for 2022

In 2022, sanatorium-resort and health-improving organizations of the Gomel region sold 104,190 vouchers, or 107.7% by 2021 (96,756 vouchers), of which 19,920 vouchers were sold to foreign citizens, which amounted to 157.3% by 2021 (12,663 foreigners) .

From the sale of vouchers by sanatorium-resort and health-improving organizations, revenue in the amount of 83.96 million rubles, or 121.4% by 2021 (69.17 million rubles), was received, of which from exports - 15.66 million rubles, which amounted to an increase of 185.3% by 2021 (8.45 million rubles). Including independently (without vouchers sold to the Republican Center) health resorts of the region sold vouchers to individuals and legal entities in the amount of 48.98 million rubles.

In addition, the health resorts of the region sold additional paid services not included in the cost of the voucher, in the amount of 7.74 million rubles. Export of additional paid services amounted to 3.35 million rubles, of which medical - 2.91 million rubles.

A priority direction for the Gomel region is the provision of sanatorium treatment and rehabilitation of children living or studying in educational institutions in areas contaminated with radionuclides. Children's rehabilitation and health centers of the Gomel region accepted 25,511 children for sanatorium treatment and rehabilitation.

In addition to vouchers to sanatorium organizations, vouchers to children's health camps are purchased annually for the summer period for children affected by the disaster at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant at the expense of the republican budget. In 2022, 1,556 children rested on such vouchers in country health camps in the amount of 1.11 million rubles.

The average occupancy rate of sanatorium-resort and health-improving organizations in the region for 2022 was 83.6%.

It should be noted the work of health resorts to preserve and strengthen the material and technical base. In 2022, 8.82 million rubles of funds were allocated for these purposes, including more than 78 thousand rubles for creating conditions for a barrier-free environment for physically impaired people.

In order to increase the demand for sanatorium and health-improving services for citizens of the Republic of Belarus and foreign citizens, the health resorts of the Gomel region continue to work on creating the most attractive, comfortable conditions for vacationers, strengthening the material, technical and medical base, mastering and introducing modern methods of treatment.
