    In January-May 2019, sanatorium-resort and recreational organizations of the Gomel region sold 33,345 vouchers, including the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium-Resort Treatment of the population of 15,360 vouchers. Proceeds from the sale of sanatorium and recreational services amounted to 2,047.90 thousand rubles.
    Increased revenues from the export of sanatorium and health services. Proceeds from the sale of services to citizens of countries of near and far abroad amounted to 6861.90 thousand rubles, including from the export of additional paid services that are not included in the cost of the voucher - 1073.20 thousand rubles.
    The average occupancy rate of the sanatorium organizations of the Gomel region since the beginning of 2019 was 78.6%.
    In order to promote sanatorium and health services in the external and internal markets, the region’s health resorts are working on advertising the services provided. Many sanatorium-resort organizations take part in republican and international exhibitions-fairs, forums, congresses. For example, in 2019 health centers of the Gomel region took part in the international spring fair of tourist services "Leisure -2019", in Minsk, the twentieth international exhibition "Spring in Gomel", in the seminar "Organization of online sales of a spa product" from RUE "TSENTRKURORT" and others.
    Work continues on the development of the medical base of sanatorium organizations, which allows expanding the list of services provided, including medical services, and providing modern diagnostic services and medical procedures to vacationers.
    It should be noted that for effective rehabilitation, a unique software complex was introduced at the Chenki Sanatorium, a subsidiary unitary enterprise, which makes it possible to significantly speed up and simplify all stages of stay for guests: from booking and accommodation in a room to complete medical program. Now vacationers of the sanatorium do not spend time waiting in queues, but are fully focused on receiving medical services from the first day of their stay. Most recently, travelers provided a mobile application for smartphones, which allows you to receive general information about the services of the sanatorium, notification of upcoming procedures and changes in the schedule, as well as about prescribed medications. Such advanced experience of the sanatorium "Chenki" can be an example for other sanatorium and resort organizations.
    Sanatoriums of the Gomel region continue to create the most attractive and comfortable conditions for travelers.
