Rehabilitation of schoolchildren of Brest region during the winter holidays 2019-2020

11-Jan-2020
The happy and fun time for children during the winter holidays is over and the guys will recall with nostalgia an interesting time spent in health camps.
A pre-school camp is a place of interesting pastime, free communication with friends, teachers who understand, participate with children in various events, do not demand from them impossible and, most importantly, do not put marks.

For many working parents, a day camp is the best way out. Visiting a school camp, the child does not break away from the family, is under the control of teachers and timely fed.
During the winter holidays, 9.7 thousand schoolchildren of the Brest region underwent rehabilitation. The work of 237 camps was organized at the bases of institutions of general secondary education, additional education of children and youth, and at the bases of specialized educational and sports institutions.
The average cost of a ticket to a health camp with a daily stay in the region averaged 37 rubles 30 kopecks. Of these, in the form of reducing the cost of vouchers, each child received state assistance in the amount of 25 rubles 20 kopecks.
For the first time in the region during the winter holidays for gifted students on the basis of the State Educational Institution "Brest Regional Lyceum named after P.M. Masherova" was organized a specialized recreation camp with a round-the-clock stay for a period of 9 days for the recovery of 70 senior students. The guys devoted a significant part of their winter vacation to preparing schoolchildren for the regional stage of the republican Olympiad. For classes with students, professors from Brest universities were invited.

Also, for the first time in the Moscow region of the city of Brest, a recreation camp with a day stay for children with disabilities was organized on the basis of the GUSO Center for Corrective and Educational Education and Rehabilitation "Veda" in Brest. A wellness shift is organized for 13 pupils of the center. A special program was prepared for the children: a meeting with the cheerful Elf, who demonstrated experiments with nitrogen, a meeting with Grandfather Frost, who entertained children with riddles, played outdoor games with them, and played round dances. Sports festivals "We will be healthy, we will be merry", "Journey into the world of a fairy tale", "Pencil day" and other interesting games were held.

It should be noted that every day spent in the health camps was full of various New Year's events: matinees, discos, walks to the New Year tree, various contests of drawings and crafts on winter and New Year and Christmas holidays, an excursion to the Estate of Belarusian Santa Claus in the National Park "Belovezhskaya Pushcha", winter sports, trips to theaters, cinemas.
In conclusion, I would like to note that thanks to the socially-oriented policy of the state, our children have the opportunity during the holidays not only to improve their health, but also to spend time interestingly, excitingly and usefully.
