    On the launch of the Eurasian integration project - "Eurasian resort ring"

    On June 15, 2021, at the All-Russian Forum "Health Resort - 2021", a presentation of the "Eurasian Resort Ring" project was held. The project participants will coordinate, within the framework of the partner ecosystem, expert, financial, digital and non-financial support for participants in the spa treatment and recreation industry of the EAEU member states. The initiator and coordinator of the project is the "EAEU Development Center" - a platform for business dialogue, initiation and development of joint Eurasian integration projects, cooperation, technology transfer and building other cooperation between entrepreneurs of the EAEU member states.
    The project participants and parties to the cooperation agreement were:
    • National Resort Association (Russian Federation);
    • Organizing committee of the competition "Regions-Sustainable Development" (Russian Federation);
    • National Resort Association (Republic of Kazakhstan);
    • Association of Resorts of Kyrgyzstan (Kyrgyz Republic);
    • Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium-Resort Treatment of the Population (Republic of Belarus).
    The total number of facilities and associated participants of the Eurasian project is more than 4,200 organizations, the number of visitors to health resort treatment and recreation organizations before the pandemic is more than 3 million people / year.
    “Our mission is to identify growth points, initiate and structure“ end-to-end ”integration projects and collaborations between countries and businesses of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The Eurasian partnership in the field of spa treatment and recreation was structured by us as part of a request from the business community, which suffered during the pandemic from the restrictive measures introduced. But the project itself assumes not only the restoration of client flows at the previous levels, but also the provision of comprehensive support by the project participants and partners, national government bodies.It will be aimed at the modernization and material and technical renovation of facilities, the introduction of a modern room stock, digitalization of processes and customer path, improving the quality of services provided. I am sure that thanks to our cooperation and the Eurasian Resort Ring, a new stage in the development of the industry in the EAEU member states will begin, ”commented the launch of the project, the head of the EAEU Development Center, Mundt Alexander Viktorovich.
    The National Resort Association of the Russian Federation and the Organizing Committee of the Regions for Sustainable Development Competition launched the National Sectoral Project Office in April 2021, the purpose of which is to work together on investment projects and business initiatives in the field of sankur. One of the objectives of the Eurasian Resort Ring is to improve the quality of project management and the availability of project financing.     “Today, at the 20th anniversary exhibition and the All-Russian Forum“ Zdravnitsa-2021 ”, we signed a cooperation agreement and, together with colleagues from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, launched an interstate business project“ Eurasian resort ring ”. Cooperation within the framework of the project involves not only methodological, expert and educational support for facilities and management of sanatorium-resort treatment, but also assistance in attracting funding to improve service, upgrade infrastructure and room stock, technological modernization of sanatoriums and boarding houses in the territory of the EAEU countries within the framework of a “single window". The National Resort Association of the Russian Federation thanks the EAEU Development Center, the Organizing Committee of the Regions-Sustainable Development competition, the National Resort Association of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kyrgyz Resorts Association, the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium-Resort Treatment of the Population of the Republic of Belarus for participating in the Eurasian integration project, commented event President of the National Resort Association (Russian Federation) Razumov Alexander Nikolaevich.
    “The resort is a unique social and cultural phenomenon, which is predetermined by nature itself. The basis for the classification of resorts is their leading natural healing factor: climate, sea bathing, mineral waters and curative mud. The development of any resort begins with the scientific substantiation of its healing components. It is the degree of study of the therapeutic factors of the area that determines the inevitable need to create conditions for their application and use. Since that time, the resort has become a unique self-developing system, bringing the necessary components to life.
    We are glad, together with our colleagues from the EAEU, to launch the "Eurasian Resort Ring" to develop the unique properties of the resorts of our countries. The sanatoriums of Kazakhstan with unique natural components, amazing landscape design and miraculous healing techniques are ready for cooperation, ”said the Chairman of the Board - President of the National Resort Association of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kairgeldina Sayagul Aydarovna.
    “The Association of Resorts of Kyrgyzstan is the main lever in the promotion of medical and health tourism in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic. The Association includes more than one hundred (100) resorts and health resorts in Kyrgyzstan. We are the guarantor of quality rest and health improvement in our country. Therefore, we are very pleased to participate in the creation of the integration project "Eurasian Resort Ring" and consider this initiative timely. Our team and all members of our association will fully participate in the process of direct implementation of the project. I am sure that the project will provoke the development of our industry and give a positive impetus to the restoration of tourism in general, ”commented the President of the Association of Resorts of Kyrgyzstan Lira Kasymalievna Batyrbekova.
