On the health improvement of children of the Gomel region in the camps in 1 shift of the summer period of 2021

In the Gomel region, in the first shift of the summer period of 2021, 17 round-the-clock health camps were organized with a stay of at least 18 days (9 stationary camps, 8 on a rented base, including 1 health camp on the basis of the Serebryany Klyuchi Sanatorium and 1 sports and health center at the base of the Municipal Unitary Enterprise "Sanatorium "Golden Sands"), 13 round-the-clock camps for a period of 15 days, 8 round-the-clock camps for a stay of 9-12 days; 608 day camps. Of the total number of labor camps, 138 are daytime work and rest.
In total, 23095 children improved their health in 1 shift:
- in round-the-clock camps - 3434 people;
- in camps with a day stay - 19661 people.
Particular attention is paid to the improvement of socially unprotected categories of children, in particular, orphans and children left without parental care, as well as children with disabilities. As a result of the first shift, 636 orphans, 196 disabled children and 541 children from among those registered with the inspectorate for minors in a socially dangerous situation were recovered.
The work of 138 labor and recreation camps was organized, where 1986 teenager worked and rested.
With the assistance of the Committee on Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee, jobs were created for students in various activities with wages. Types of work that the teenagers performed: landscaping the school grounds, repairing school furniture, making easels, storage boxes for mobile phones, stools for the school cafeteria, screens for batteries, souvenirs, weeding crops, working in a nursery, caring for forest crops, and others.
For the first shift in labor and recreation camps in the Gomel region, teenagers were able to earn from 25.00 rubles to 250.00 rubles.
In the Gomel region, constant preventive monitoring of health camps is carried out on the issues of compliance with the requirements of sanitary and epidemiological well-being, fire safety, nutritional standards and others. The Gomel Regional Executive Committee approved the schedule of trips to health camps with round-the-clock stay in the summer. The group includes specialists from the representative office, sanitary service, and education department. The recommendations of the working groups are taken into account by the owners of the health camps and are implemented immediately.
The administration of the recreation camps has taken measures to ensure the safe stay of children. An action plan has been developed to prevent the introduction and spread of COVID-19 infection, and actions to be taken when a disease is detected.
The camps are provided with disinfectants and personal protective equipment.
