In March 2022, in the agricultural town of Rakov, Volozhin district, Minsk region, the LODE health center was opened for elderly people, including those with incomplete dementia and other age-related disorders, as well as for people with limited mobility. The owner of the center is the open joint-stock company "LODE".

The LODE Center is located in a picturesque and environmentally friendly place - in a pine forest not far from Nalibokskaya Pushcha. The Isloch River flows nearby. The territory of the center is 5.86 hectares. The distance to Minsk is about 35 km.

The center employs trained and specially trained personnel. Junior medical staff and caregivers have completed special courses on caring for the frail and elderly. In addition to professional skills, they have certain character traits: mercy, sensitivity, listening skills, responsibility.

The LODE Health Center has a capacity of 43 beds and provides accommodation in cozy single and double rooms. Each room has beds with orthopedic mattresses, chests of drawers, chairs, wardrobes, and a TV. The rooms are equipped so that each guest has his own personal space. All rooms are equipped with a staff call button. The LODE health center has a double one-room suite, adapted for wheelchair users, there are ramps with handrails throughout the entrance to the dormitory building, a dining room, contrasting door markings, and a parking space equipped with “Parking for the Disabled” signs.

There is a spacious lounge with a library where you can read the latest press, discuss the latest news, play a game or two of board games or solve a crossword puzzle, watch your favorite TV shows and films, and play music.

Residents are given classes in drawing, modeling, and weaving with straw. The wellness center hosts dancing and karaoke with songs from past years, as well as interesting themed evenings, concerts, and excursions. Free Wi-Fi is available.

There is also a room for exercises and gymnastics, exercise equipment, and, upon doctor’s orders, a physical therapy nurse provides a circular shower.

A special area is allocated for walks in the fresh air, where older people can relax on comfortable benches and cozy gazebos. The central and emergency entrances are equipped with reliable ramps with handrails, and there are mobile vehicles (strollers, walkers).

Regular medical monitoring of older people is carried out: daily monitoring of temperature, heart rate, blood pressure, monitoring of medication intake.

Residents are provided with five meals a day. The menu is compiled taking into account medical recommendations and is correctly balanced so that older people receive the necessary set of vitamins, nutrients, micro- and macroelements. If necessary, food is brought to your room. The center staff feeds people with disabilities individually.

By the way, staying at the LODE health center can also be considered as a social respite for relatives of older people. If someone needs to go on a business trip or leave the city on business and does not want to leave their grandparents bored alone, they can offer their loved ones to live in comfortable conditions under the supervision of specialists, where they will be provided with attention, communication, leisure and care.

On March 26, 2024, the LODE health center passed state certification for the first time. A working group consisting of representatives of the Minsk City Administration of the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium-Resort Treatment of the Population, the Health Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee, the state institution "Minsk City Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology", the public association "Belarusian Society of Disabled People" carried out an on-site assessment of the provision of the named organization provides health services to the population and in accordance with the Regulations on the criteria and procedure for state certification of sanatorium-resort and health organizations assigned the health center "LODE" of the limited liability company "LODE" the status of a health organization of the second category for adults.

The head of the working group is the head of the Minsk city administration of the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium Treatment of the Population Nafranovich V.A. in a solemn atmosphere in the presence of the head of the health center, Simakova I.N. and other employees presented a certificate of state certification to the director of LODE LLC, Vladimir Vladimirovich Gorbachev.
