The results of the work on the improvement and sanatorium treatment of the population in the Brest region for 2022

Concern for the health of the population occupies a priority position both in the republic and in the Brest region. One of the types of social assistance in improving the health of the population is preferential provision of sanatorium treatment and rehabilitation.

In 2022, the representative office met all the adjusted indicators for the improvement and sanatorium treatment of the population of the region at the expense of state funding sources. So, at the end of the year, 117.3 thousand residents of the region received health improvement in sanatorium and health resorts, which is 6% more than in 2021 and is 96% by 2019. For the implementation of these tasks, 28.6 million rubles of public funds were spent, which is 103% compared to the previous year and 5% higher than the costs of 2019.

For non-working pensioners at the expense of the republican budget, 4059 vouchers were purchased and sold, of which 1285 vouchers were given to persons who have an extraordinary and priority right to free sanatorium and resort treatment at the expense of the republican budget and accompanying persons (disabled people and participants in the Great Patriotic War, disabled people of I and II group, etc.). During the reporting period, 315 vouchers were sold for law enforcement agencies, 971 vouchers for students, 4065 vouchers for working citizens at the place of work.

Particular attention is paid to the organization of sanatorium treatment and rehabilitation of children. In general, in 2022, 106.7 thousand children of the region received rehabilitation in sanatoriums and health camps of all types, which is 6.5% more than in 2021. Of these, 7.6 thousand children from among those living and studying in the contaminated territories, 1.2 thousand children with disabilities along with their accompanying persons, 4 thousand children of working citizens and 94.4 thousand people in health camps, including in the summer - 65.0 thousand children.

The recovery coverage of children in the Brest region in the summer of 2022 of the number of students amounted to 44.9% (2021 - 42.1%), with the national average of 41.1%. In the suburban base of stationary camps, 23.3% of children improved their health in 2022 (in 2021 - 21.6%).

Currently, there are 22 stationary health camps in the region for 3563 beds, which in 2022 worked in 4 or more shifts and were almost 100% loaded.

In 2022, 3.6 million rubles were spent to strengthen their material and technical base from all sources, which is 2.3 times more than in 2021, including 2.1 million rubles from the local budget.

In 2022, a new stationary regional children's health camp "Yuventa" was opened in the Ivatsevichi district for 64 places per shift, 1,158.5 thousand rubles were spent on repairs and the purchase of necessary equipment from the regional budget. In the recreation camp "Salyut" in Brest, the construction of a building for showers (laundry), current repairs of buildings and structures, the purchase of soft and hard equipment, landscaping were carried out and 535.6 thousand rubles of local budget funds and 47.5 thousand rubles were spent sponsorship funds. The owners of other camps in the region continue to improve their base.

Currently, there are 21 certified sanatorium-resort and health-improving organizations in the Brest region of various departmental subordination and forms of ownership, including 14 sanatorium-resort organizations for 3818 beds, as well as 4 recreation centers, 3 health centers.

At the end of 2022, 94.3 thousand adults and children underwent treatment and rehabilitation on the basis of sanatorium-resort and health-improving organizations of the region, which is almost 12% more than the previous year and amounted to 107% by 2019. The total amount of revenue from the sale of services by health resorts at the end of 2022 amounted to 80.4 million rubles, which is 128.8% by 2021 and 125% by 2019. The export of services for 2022 amounted to 14.2 million rubles, or 190.8% compared to the previous year and 75.9% compared to 2019. 11.6 thousand foreign citizens have been rehabilitated.

The sanatorium and health system in the Brest region is constantly developing. Every year, health resorts invest heavily in capital and current repairs, the purchase of new modern medical equipment and inventory, and landscaping. In 2022, for these purposes, health resorts spent mainly 7.7 million rubles from the owner's funds (in 2021 - 7.3 million rubles).

So, in JSC "Sanatorium" Ruzhansky "works were carried out to improve the territory, medical and technological equipment, a bus for 19 seats, a tractor, soft and hard equipment, furniture were purchased, current repairs of buildings and structures were carried out and 2.3 million rubles. In the sanatorium "Nadzeya" RUE "Brestoblgaz" a cottage was built, current repairs of buildings and structures were made, a pressure chamber was purchased and 1.3 million rubles were spent for these purposes. In DUP "Sanatorium Bug" the cinema hall, two dining halls of the dining room (amber and white), current repairs of buildings and structures, landscaping and other works were carried out and 934.6 thousand rubles were spent.

Under special control is the issue of ensuring the safe stay of the population in sanatorium treatment and rehabilitation, including taking into account the epidemiological situation.

In the regions of the Brest region, interdepartmental working groups have been created to monitor the activities of sanatorium-resort and health-improving organizations with on-site visits. In 2022, these working groups examined 20 sanatorium-resort and health-improving institutions operating in the region, except for the Birch Grove recreation center of the Water Sports Center State Institution, whose activities were suspended due to the reconstruction of the facility. In addition, the representative office carried out 13 unscheduled visits to health resorts in the region.

Work on sanatorium-resort treatment and improvement of the population of the Brest region will be continued.
