In 2022, the provision of sanatorium-and-spa treatment and rehabilitation at the expense of state social insurance funds in Minsk amounted to 12.1 recovered per 1,000 employees, including 3.2 in children's sanatoriums, 4.8 in sanatoriums for adults, 1 ,6 - in the State Institution "Republican Center for Medical Rehabilitation and Balneotherapy", 2.5 - in sanatoriums for adults and children.

The representative office of the Minsk City Administration of the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium-Resort Treatment of the Population during 2022, using state social insurance funds, is aimed at sanatorium-resort treatment and rehabilitation of 12,055 working citizens of the city and their minor children. According to vouchers purchased from all sources of funding (except for disabled children), 5,044 children were sent for free sanatorium treatment. Including 1804 children underwent spa treatment together with one of the parents.

Currently in Minsk there are 2 student sanatorium-preventoriums, one of which of the Belarusian State Medical University operates on an outpatient basis, the other - "Polytechnic" of the EE "Belarusian National Technical University" - around the clock, providing daily delivery of students from the village. Zhdanovichi to the place of study in Minsk and back. In 2022, these bases improved 3403 students (in 2021 - 2911), which amounted to 116.9% compared to last year. Another 18 students improved their health in other sanatorium organizations of the republic.

In 2022, in accordance with the plan brought by the Center, 801 disabled children were sent free of charge at the expense of the republican budget for sanatorium and resort treatment.

Annually, the rehabilitation of disabled children is organized in summer health camps as part of family shifts. During the summer 2022, 82 disabled children with diabetes mellitus and cardiopathology, accompanied by one of their parents, improved their health at the health-improving center "Energetik" of the branch "Minsk Electric Networks" of RUE "Minskenergo" (56) and the sanatorium "Zeleny Bor" of the state institution "Multifunctional cultural and sports complex "Minsk-arena" (26) at the expense of the budget of Minsk and the republican budget.

24 non-working invalids of groups I and II, who suffered from the Chernobyl disaster, were sent for sanatorium treatment. Almost 100% coverage of sanatorium-and-spa treatment is provided.

Sent to sanatorium-resort treatment in 2022 58 disabled people and participants of the Great Patriotic War and 12 veterans of the Great Patriotic War (in 2021 - 62 and 16 respectively), including 1 person, are provided with vouchers at the expense of the budget of the Union State of Belarus and Russia.

2486 vouchers were allocated to non-working disabled people I and II groups (in 2021 - 2417), which amounted to 9.9% of the number of those registered (registered 25052). 3842 people or about 12.2% of registered (31546 registered) non-working veterans of labor and invalids of group III are provided for. In total, 6328 non-working citizens were rehabilitated (in 2021 - 5304), 119.3% of the growth was provided.

Non-working citizens who are pensioners of power structures were allocated 338 vouchers, of which 142 were for disabled people of groups I and II (11.9% of those who applied) and 196 vouchers were for veterans of the Armed Forces and disabled of group III (19.8% of those who applied) . Total in 2022, 575 vouchers were allocated under the budget for "power structures" (in 2021 - 537 trips), 107.1% growth. In addition to non-working citizens, vouchers were allocated to servicemen and their minor children.

One of the most important areas of work of the representative office is the organization of mass rehabilitation of schoolchildren during the holidays in camps of various types. This season, more than 68 thousand children improved their health, which amounted to 107% of the target. There were 729 camps, including 31 out-of-town and 149 tent camps.

In October 2022, a city conference was held following the results of the summer health campaign, where the leadership of the Minsk City Executive Committee highly appreciated the activities of the representative office in matters of health improvement of children in Minsk.

Based on the results of the summer health campaign in 2022, the leadership of the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium-Resort Treatment awarded 1st place to the staff of the representative office and presented a Certificate of Honor.
