The results of the improvement of the population Mogilev region for 2022

In 2022, at the expense of public funds in the amount of 22.7 million rubles, 85,730 people were rehabilitated in the Mogilev region, which is 2,956 people more than in 2021.

At the expense of state social insurance funds, through commissions for the rehabilitation and sanatorium-resort treatment of enterprises, organizations from among working citizens and their minor children, 6,091 people were sent to sanatorium-resort treatment and rehabilitation, of which 3,092 children were free of charge, including 888 accompanied adult, which amounted to 31.1 percent of the number of those in need.

Particular attention is paid to the improvement of the most socially vulnerable categories of citizens. First of all, these are children under the age of 18 who have a disability.

In January-December last year, 355 disabled children were sent for free sanatorium treatment at the expense of the republican budget, including 21 with cerebral palsy and 8 disabled children. at the expense of the off-budget state social insurance fund, at the place of work of one of the legal representatives,

During the summer campaign, 510 people from among the disabled children rested in various health camps.

In total, over the past year, 65.3 percent of the number of disabled children who applied were improved.

Also free of charge, at the expense of the republican budget, vouchers for sanatorium-and-spa treatment on an extraordinary basis were allocated to 15 disabled people and participants in the Great Patriotic War and 847 non-working disabled people of groups I and II, who were entitled to priority provision of vouchers.

With partial payment from the cost of vouchers, 2,087 people were sent to sanatorium and resort organizations, from among non-working labor veterans and disabled people of the III group, including those who are pensioners of law enforcement agencies.

Special attention is paid to the improvement of the health of the population affected by the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, and above all, children living and studying in areas contaminated with radionuclides.

For this category of children, annual free sanatorium treatment and rehabilitation is provided - one of the most significant and effective measures to reduce the negative impact of the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster on their health.

In 2022, 6,612 such children underwent sanatorium treatment and rehabilitation in the region, including 586 of preschool and primary school age, 136 aged 3 to 6 accompanied by one of their parents. Also, 6 non-working disabled people of the II group (Article 18), who suffered from the Chernobyl disaster, were rehabilitated.

In the region, 100% coverage of sanatorium-and-spa treatment for children affected by the disaster at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant with appropriate medical indications is provided.

Also, during the reporting period, 68342 schoolchildren were improved in health camps.

Of the total number of the population of the Mogilev region improved using public funds in 2022, 92.2 percent were children.
