Improving the health of children in the Gomel region during the spring holidays
20-Mar-2023The most common form of organizing children during the vacation period is health camps with day stay, created on the basis of educational institutions, as well as on the basis of specialized educational and sports institutions, secondary schools of the Olympic reserve, which provide sports training for the sports reserve.
In order to organize the rehabilitation and recreation of children during the spring break of the 2022-2023 academic year in the Gomel region, it is planned to organize about 400 health camps with a day stay, in which approximately 8,750 children will be provided with rehabilitation.
For this purpose, about 240.00 thousand rubles were allocated from the republican budget for the rehabilitation of children in the Gomel region. According to the order of the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium-Resort Treatment of the Population No. 13-o dated March 13, 2023, the amount of funds to reduce the cost of vouchers to health, sports and recreation camps with a day stay for one bed-day for each child is 4 rubles 55 kopecks. The parental fee for a ticket to a day camp is set in the amount of an additional payment up to the full cost of the ticket.
Spring health camps with a day stay will be held from March 27 to April 1. The duration of the shift will be six days. When recruiting groups in camps, preference is given to children from large, low-income and single-parent families, children in a socially dangerous situation, children from foster and guardian families, as well as those who are on various types of records, on intra-school control.
Health camps are organized in compliance with sanitary, fire-fighting, sanitary and epidemiological measures and other requirements for organizing children's health improvement.
In order to organize children's leisure, to form their common culture and healthy lifestyle skills, to rationally use vacation time, the organizers of health camps have developed recreational and educational programs, including cultural and sports events, excursions, games, competitions, classes in interest associations : mugs, sections, clubs, creative workshops, visiting theaters, museums, watching feature films and documentaries. These activities are teamwork, independence, all kinds of entertainment, as well as self-study. As part of the city-wide campaign of useful deeds, children will be able to engage in the development and implementation of volunteer projects, participate in the improvement and landscaping of the territory of educational institutions.
The set of activities planned during the spring break in the camps will allow children to be included in the health process every day, which is characterized by: an orderly rhythm of life, diet, support for muscle and emotional tone. The result of the implementation of the health direction is the formation of the need for a healthy lifestyle and the rules of safe behavior, the formation of a civic position among the younger generation, the need for spiritual and moral improvement, respect for the historical and cultural heritage of one's people, the preservation of Belarusian traditions, and the development of creative potential.
