Organization of children's health improvement Mogilev region during spring break

On the territory of the Mogilev region during the spring holidays from March 27 to April 01, 2023, 277 health camps with day stay were organized, in which 7,254 schoolchildren undergo rehabilitation. Of these, 264 health camps operate on the basis of institutions of general secondary and additional education for children and youth, and 13 on the basis of specialized educational and sports institutions.

For these purposes, over 198.0 thousand rubles have been allocated from the republican budget to reduce the cost of vouchers to health, sports and recreation camps with day stay, at the rate of 4 rubles 55 kopecks per bed-day for each child.

When recruiting groups in the camps, special attention was paid to children from large, low-income and single-parent families, families in a socially dangerous situation, children from foster and guardian families, as well as children from various types of registration and control.

Every day spent in the camp is accompanied by activities aimed at solving the problems of recovery, spiritual, moral, civil, patriotic, intellectual, labor and environmental education, developing the creative potential of children, and meeting their physical needs. The camps host various competitive games, intellectual programs, walks and games in the fresh air, preventive talks, thematic talk shows, master classes, flash mobs, quizzes, sports and recreational activities.

Thanks to organized recreation, in a short vacation time, children acquire the skills of safe behavior, a civic position is formed among the younger generation, respect is brought up for the historical and cultural heritage of their people, and the preservation of Belarusian traditions.

The work of health camps is organized taking into account the implementation of sanitary and anti-epidemic measures, fire prevention and other requirements for organizing children's health improvement.

The main motto is "Safe holidays - for good!".
