Readiness for the children's summer health campaign in 2023 in the Grodno region

All the necessary conditions have been created in the Grodno region to ensure the health improvement of all those who want and need children aged 6 to 18 during the summer school holidays.
The planned volumes of children's health improvement in the camps are set on the basis of the studied demand for health services in the summer. It is planned to improve the health of about 47.3 thousand children in camps of all types, including 308 disabled children and 1261 orphans.
The predicted recovery coverage in the summer is 40%.

In total, it is planned to open 714 camps in the region, 223 of them with round-the-clock stay, 491 with daytime stay, in which 20,316 and 26,997 children will rest, respectively.
23 stationary camps will work in 3 and 4, 5 shift working modes, where 13,500 children will be able to improve their health. The average cost of a ticket to stationary camps will be 630 rubles.
On June 1, the stationary camp "Svityaz" in the Novogrudok district will start working. In the period from 2 to 11 June - 22 stationary camps.

It is planned to operate 105 sports and recreation camps: 64 with daytime and 41 with round-the-clock stay at the bases of general secondary education institutions.

Planned work has been carried out on capital and current repairs of residential and administrative buildings, landscaping, equipping sports grounds, replacing obsolete technological and refrigeration equipment. The owners of stationary camps are actively using funds for the preparation of bases allocated from the republican and local budgets - 88.7 and 464 thousand rubles, respectively, extra-budgetary (sponsored) - 111.6 thousand rubles. All stationary health camps will be ready to receive children five days before the start of the shift.

This year, emphasis has been placed on ideological, civil and military-patriotic education, work will continue on the implementation of the action plan dedicated to the Year of Peace and Creation. Particular attention will be paid to holding events dedicated to significant events in the history of the Republic of Belarus and having a special historical and socio-political significance.

On May 26, an interdepartmental meeting will be held on organizing the rehabilitation of children in the summer and creating safe conditions in camps of all types on the basis of the Lesnoy stationary camp of the Education Department of the Slonim District Executive Committee.
