Readiness for the summer health campaign in 2023 in the Minsk region

In the Minsk region, it is planned to improve the health of 63,021 children in health, sports and recreation camps, which will be 40.3% of the total number of students, of which: 26,661 students - in camps with round-the-clock stay, 36,360 children - in camps with day stay.
According to current data, the average price of a ticket to camps with a day form of stay will be 143 rubles, with a round-the-clock form of stay - 538 rubles.

Particular attention is paid to the improvement of children's health in sports camps. Thus, it is planned to involve 6,878 students in the systematic educational and training process in sports and recreation camps. Of these, 4,940 children are in sports and recreation camps with a day form of stay and 1,938 students are in camps with a round-the-clock stay.

To ensure a full-fledged summer vacation and rehabilitation of children in the conditions of a country stay in the Minsk region in the summer, 26 stationary health camps will operate around the clock with a capacity of 3.6 thousand beds (22 camps owned by communal property, 4 - on the balance of enterprises).
This year, 885.1 thousand rubles were allocated for the preparation of health camps, of which:

- Representative Office of the Minsk Regional Department of the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium-Resort Treatment of the Population allocated 88.5 thousand rubles from the republican budget;
- funds of the district budget - 574.4 thousand rubles;
- owners' funds - 198.5 thousand rubles;
- sponsorship - 23.7 thousand rubles.

117 labor and recreation camps will operate in the Minsk region, where 1,870 students will be recuperated. A list of host organizations, facilities, types of work and the number of places for teenagers in labor and recreation camps has been compiled. The main types of work: repairing school furniture, weeding, caring for forest plantations, picking vegetables and fruits, landscaping, agricultural work, making souvenirs, etc.

In the current health season, the practice of opening defense-sports and military-patriotic camps will continue with the involvement of employees of law enforcement agencies: the District Department of Internal Affairs, the ROChS, military units, military registration and enlistment offices, etc. 1,704 students and 97 military-patriotic camps for 4,130 children will receive rehabilitation.

For the first time, it is planned to organize a republican specialized military-patriotic camp with a round-the-clock (9-day) stay for 422 students of the 10th grade of general secondary education institutions and pupils of the Suvorov Military School on the basis of the 72nd Guards Joint Training Center for the Training of Ensigns and Junior Specialists in the city of Borisov Minsk region.
Military-patriotic camp "Valor" will be organized on the basis of military unit 3310 of Minsk region (village town Okolitsa) for 100 children.

The priority direction remains civil and patriotic education of students. Work will continue on the implementation of the action plan dedicated to the Year of Peace and Creation, Patriotic, Spiritual and Moral Education.

To this end, the pupils of children's health camps are planning to visit the Museum in the Khatyn Memorial Complex in each of the shifts; The memorial complex "Mound of Glory", the historical and cultural complex "Stalin's Line", the Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War, military units and other memorial complexes and memorable places. Pupils of health camps in Minsk, Nesvizh, Stolbtsy, Uzden and Cherven regions will visit the Brest Fortress.

As part of the civic-patriotic education of students, various kinds of dialogue platforms, discussion platforms, motivational conversations with the invitation of media people from the Minsk region and the Republic of Belarus are planned, aimed at instilling in young people a sense of pride in their homeland and their people, respect for its achievements and worthy pages of the past, popularization of family values, achievements of national culture. Without fail, in all camps there will be solemn assembly dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus, the pupils of which will take part in the Republican action "Let's sing the anthem together!".

The organization of medical care will be provided in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus dated April 18, 2023 No. 543 “On the organization of medical support for the summer rehabilitation of children in 2023”.
In order to control the progress of the health campaign, constant monitoring of the work of the camps will be ensured by commissions for coordinating actions and resolving issues related to the summer health improvement of children in 2023.
