The beginning of a health campaign in the camps of the Vitebsk region

The school year is over and the big summer holidays are ahead. During this period, it is very important to organize a good rest and recovery of our children.
On May 23, 2023, a meeting was held on the topic of the 2023 summer wellness campaign. The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Durnov Vyacheslav, Head of the Representative Office of the Vitebsk Regional Administration for Health Improvement and Sanatorium and Resort Treatment of the Population Titova Snezhana, deputy chairmen of the city district executive committees in charge of social issues, owners of health camps, as well as representatives of law enforcement agencies and law enforcement agencies areas.

In the summer period of 2023, it is planned to improve the health of 43,072 children in the Vitebsk region, including 17,472 children in camps with round-the-clock stay of children and 25,600 children in day camps.
There will be 33 out-of-town stationary camps in the region, 19 of which are owned by budgetary organizations and 14 camps located at enterprises.
This summer, two new out-of-town stationary camps "Braslavskaya Volna" of the Education Department of the Braslav District Executive Committee for 60 places per shift and "Scarlet Sail" of the Education Department of the Shumilinsky District Executive Committee for 70 places per shift are opening.

Additionally, camps with round-the-clock stay in the Lepel and Orsha districts will open on rented areas.
The average cost of a ticket to health camps is planned to be 690.00 rubles.
1400 teenagers will have a rest and work in labor and rest camps. Children will carry out landscaping and landscaping, repair schools and school furniture, sew overalls, take care of plants, and will work in agricultural enterprises.

It is planned to improve the health of 1,600 orphans and children left without parental care, 370 disabled children. Children from large families of employees of budgetary organizations will not be left without attention. For these categories of children, funds are provided for additional payment up to the full cost of vouchers in local budgets.
105,000 rubles from the republican budget and 755,000 rubles from the regional budget were allocated for the preparation and strengthening of the material and technical base of out-of-town health camps, in addition, funds from the owners of the camps will be used for training.
