Start of children's summer health campaign in Grodno

The long-awaited summer is awaited equally by both adults and children. It is important to rest for health benefits. It is this concept of summer vacation that is offered in children's health camps, which began to accept vacationers from June 1.

This year, about 47.3 thousand children will rest in children's health camps in the Grodno region. Among them are more than 300 disabled children and 1260 orphans and children left without parental care.

As part of the events dedicated to the International Children's Day, on June 1, the summer health campaign of 2023 was launched in Grodno. One of its main tasks will be the organization of leisure activities for children, which will allow them to maximize their abilities. Children will take part in interesting events, projects, educational games and competitions, competitions, relay races, excursions of a patriotic orientation.

The region will continue the practice of specialized camps "Science", "Leader", camps for students of agricultural and pedagogical classes. Plans to operate the camp "Young Cadet" on the basis of the regional cadet school. For high school students, recreation is provided in labor and recreation camps, where children can earn their first salary and relax. Work for senior pupils of the region is offered mainly by agricultural organizations and forestries. Contracts have already been concluded with organizations that employ children, and the types of work performed have been determined.

Also, military-patriotic and defense-sports camps will be organized in the region. These camps will be opened in cooperation with military units and border detachments. The work program of these camps provides for a whole range of activities for pre-conscription training and military affairs. The children will be able to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of a military unit, get acquainted with the military personnel, and take part in joint events.

During the entire summer period, systemic interdepartmental control over the work of health camps will be ensured.
