The results of the first shift in the camps of the Mogilev region

Summer holidays in health camps are in full swing. In total, 27,128 people underwent rehabilitation in the Mogilev region during the first shift of the 2023 summer campaign.

There were 50 health camps with round-the-clock stay, in which 4061 people improved their health and 469 camps with day stay - 23067 schoolchildren.

The rehabilitation of children and adolescents was carried out on the basis of 15 out-of-town stationary camps, 7 rented bases, including 2 sanatorium organizations. In addition, 12 round-the-clock specialized camps lasting 9 days worked in the first shift.

In the first shift, 5757 people from among the pupils of the sports institutions of the region were able to improve their health and at the same time combine the training process.

The loading of stationary health camps in the first shift amounted to 98.9 percent of the available capacities.

In order to avoid epidemiological risks, the work of the camps is organized in accordance with the approved Plan of Sanitary and Anti-Epidemiological Measures to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19 Diseases When Organizing the Work of Health Camps. The state of health of children is constantly monitored.

Children's meals are organized according to the approved 2-week menu in compliance with the norms. Deliveries of products to the camps are carried out under direct contracts.

Educational work in health camps is carried out taking into account methodological recommendations to help the organizers of summer holidays in 2023, as well as the calendar of public holidays, memorable dates and international holidays.

The main tasks of the camps are to improve the health of children; formation of healthy lifestyle skills; formation of social norms and values; satisfaction of individual needs of children in intellectual, moral, physical improvement; development of creative abilities of students.

When working with children, their age characteristics, abilities and interests are taken into account.

The rest of the children in the camps is filled with appropriate activities aimed at patriotic, moral, labor education, and the formation of a healthy lifestyle. A number of events are dedicated to the Year of Peace and Creation, the strengthening of unity and the Belarusian statehood.

As a result of the first shift, 964 people from the preferential category were rehabilitated, including 287 disabled children, 677 orphans.

So, on the basis of the Osipovichi special boarding school for children with impaired functions of the musculoskeletal system, a shift was held in a camp with a round-the-clock stay for disabled children. 20 children were able not only to have an interesting and informative time, but also to receive a set of medical procedures available at the boarding school. An interesting program was offered for them, filled with excursions, competitions, educational and recreational activities.

On the basis of the state educational institution "Center for correctional and developmental education and rehabilitation of the city of Shklov", a shift was organized for 9 disabled children in the health camp "Nadezhda". Within the framework of interdepartmental interaction with the Shklovsky regional center of social services for the population, events were held in the camp - rallying children and adults with special needs of psychophysical development in team sports activities.

In the camps, events were held as part of the information and educational campaign "Step to Success", aimed at the formation of civil and patriotic consciousness.

So, in the recreation camp "Olsa" as part of the republican information and educational campaign on June 8, 2023, a meeting was held with Turova Elena Viktorovna, film director of the National Film Studio "Belarusfilm", a member of the Union of Cinematographers of Belarus.

On June 15, 2023, a dialogue platform was held at the Rodnik health camp of the GUDO Mogilev Regional Center for Creativity as part of the republican information and educational campaign “STEP to Success”. The general director of OJSC “Minsk Electrotechnical Plant named after V.I. V.I. Kozlov "Radevich Alexander Mikhailovich.

The children were shown a film about the activities of the enterprise, after which an active dialogue with the guest took place.

In cooperation with the regional departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, military units of the Ministry of Defense in each region, the activities of health camps of a military-patriotic profile are organized with the involvement of minor children and adolescents who are in a socially dangerous situation, recognized as in need of state protection, consisting on various forms of accounting.
