The children's summer wellness campaign is in full swing. During the first shift of the health campaign of the current year, 47669 children of the Brest region have already rested, including 8743 children in round-the-clock stay camps, 38926 children with day stay. Organized 833 health camps of various types.

During the first shift, 22 stationary health camps functioned in the region, where 3969 children rested.

Particular attention, as before, is paid to the improvement of children of socially unprotected categories. During the first shift, 542 orphans, 665 disabled children, 1,262 children on preventive records and in a socially dangerous situation, and 9,497 children from large families were rehabilitated.

The main purpose of organizing health camps is not only to create conditions for a good rest, but also to civic-patriotic education of children, the comprehensive development of their creative abilities. Every day, entertaining and educational competitions, sportlands, quizzes, relay races, excursions and various other events are held with children.

Particular attention in the camps is paid to holding events dedicated to significant events in the history of the Republic of Belarus and having a special historical and socio-political significance.

Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus is one of the most important public holidays in our country. In all camps on July 3 this year, events dedicated to this holiday were held.

So, in the recreation camp "Stroitel" of JSC "Stroytrest No. 25", located in the Baranovichi district, there was a solemn line, a concert, a sports festival "ZaBeg", a music competition of flash mobs "Forward to the ideal!", Pioneer fire.

On July 3, 2023, in the Brigantina health camp of the Education Department of the Ivanovo District Executive Committee, the campaigns “Singing the National Anthem”, “Symbols of my country” and the festive concert “Belarus in my heart!”

On 07/06/2023, Ivan Kupala was celebrated in the recreation camp "Forest Rainbow" of the Education Department of the Baranovichi City Executive Committee according to all traditions: with songs, a fire and a round dance.

On the basis of the regional health camp "Yuventa" of the Ivatsevichy district, on July 4, 2023, a meeting was held with representatives of the ROES.
