The main goal of the summer health campaign is to create conditions for providing an active intellectual, emotionally rich summer vacation and comprehensive development of the child's personality based on his involvement in socially useful, health and leisure activities.

Ideological, civic and patriotic education is a priority for health institutions during the 2023 summer health campaign.

The basis of the educational system of health camps of military-patriotic and defense-sports profiles was the organization of work to form the personal qualities of a citizen and patriot, socially significant and responsible behavior for the benefit of their country in pupils.

The practice of opening defense-sports, military-patriotic camps and shifts with the involvement of employees of law enforcement agencies in the interaction has continued. As part of the organization of preventive work with pupils, thematic meetings are held with employees of the inspectorate for minors, the state automobile inspectorate, the organization of the state-public association "Belarusian Water Rescue Society", departments for emergency situations, healthcare institutions, etc.

An important condition in the work of health camps was the use of state symbols of the Republic of Belarus. The beginning of the work of each camp and the end of each shift is accompanied by a solemn line, during which the national anthem is played and the national flag of the Republic of Belarus is raised.

Particular attention is paid to holding events dedicated to significant events in the history of the Republic of Belarus and having a special historical and socio-political significance. The events dedicated to the Day of

National Remembrance of the victims of the Great Patriotic War and the genocide of the Belarusian people were reflected in the work of health camps of all types. On this day, “lessons of courage”, memory rallies were held, films related to the events of the beginning of the war were shown, flowers were laid at monuments and memorial complexes in honor of the fallen heroes.
