According to preliminary data, during the summer period in the Mogilev region, 47,466 schoolchildren, or 102.1 percent of the plan, were made healthy.

In total, 211 camps operated with round-the-clock stay, where 19,487 people were healed (103.4 percent of the plan), 576 with day stay - 27,975 people (101.2 percent of the plan).

Of the pupils of the region's sports institutions, 9,061 people, or 19.1 percent of the total number of those who recovered, were made healthy over the summer, including 2,681 people who were made healthy in round-the-clock sports and recreation camps and 6,380 with day stays.

During the summer health campaign of 2023, the work of camps according to profiles and areas of activity continued. The work of camps for environmental studies, local history, art, defense sports and other fields was organized, in which 22,642 schoolchildren underwent health improvement over the summer.

For the winners of republican and regional subject Olympiads, highly motivated students, a regional specialized round-the-clock camp “Olympian” (100 people) was organized. In all regions of the region, work in this direction was organized on the basis of institutions of general secondary and additional education. There were specialized camps and teams “Intelligence”, “Erudite”, “Summer Academy”, “Intellectual”, etc., where the winners and participants of subject Olympiads, as well as those with good results in their studies, could relax and improve their knowledge and skills.

In order to increase the number of healthy children in the region this year, the work of 5 stationary health camps and 2 rented on the basis of the Sosny sanatoriums of Mogilevkhimvolokno OJSC and Dubrovenka RUE Mogilev Branch of the Belarusian Railway was organized in five shifts, instead of the traditional four . This made it possible to further improve the health of 1,008 children.

Meals for children in the camps were organized according to the approved 2-week menu in compliance with the standards. Products were supplied under direct contracts.

Educational work in health camps was carried out taking into account methodological recommendations to help organizers of summer holidays in 2023, as well as the calendar of public holidays, memorable dates and international holidays.

The children's vacation in the camps was filled with relevant events aimed at patriotic, moral, labor education, and the formation of a healthy lifestyle. A number of events are dedicated to the Year of Peace and Creation, strengthening unity and Belarusian statehood.

Over the summer period, 2,000 orphans and children left without parental care underwent rehabilitation. Also, 462 children, including disabled children, rested in camps with day and round-the-clock stays.

In cooperation with the regional departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and military units of the Ministry of Defense, the activities of military-patriotic health camps were organized in each region with the involvement of minor children and adolescents in a socially dangerous situation, recognized as in need of state protection, consisting of various forms of registration, 1,605 such guys were rehabilitated.

There were 79 military-patriotic camps operating in the region, in which 2,268 children were employed, including 23 camps for 427 teenagers organized on the basis of military units.

The program of activities of such camps involves the use of a wide range of forms and methods of work in patriotic and military-patriotic education, physical education and sports.

Organized camps in the summer of 2023 made it possible to satisfy all requests for health improvement in camps of various types in full.
