The life of the children in the health camps was quite eventful - these included daily sports, quizzes, relay races, competitions between squads, game programs, music competitions, excursions and other events. In addition, instructive conversations were held with the children and they touched on various topics: the harm of drugs, alcohol and smoking, behavior with strangers, the benefits of playing sports, fire safety rules, traffic rules, personal hygiene, etc.

The implementation of the information and educational project “Step to Success” was actively carried out with the organization of motivational conversations aimed at developing civic and patriotic consciousness among young people, popularizing family values, achievements of national culture and modern Belarus, involving in this work authoritative media personalities, representatives of the security bloc, spheres of education, healthcare, sports, culture, science, public associations and leading enterprises of the country. 264 events were organized in health camps in the region, in which 14,197 children took part.

An endocrinologist from the health care institution “Pinsk Central Clinic” organized a consultation for children, and a conversation was held with parents about the rules of organizing the diet and life of children with this diagnosis, providing first aid if the child’s condition worsens, using glucometers, test strips and syringe pens , administration of insulins.

The issue of ensuring the safety and health of children is under constant control. Throughout the summer period, monitoring was carried out by interdepartmental commissions created in the districts and at the regional level.

During the summer health campaign of 2023, sanitary and epidemiological well-being, fire safety and water safety were ensured in the region. No outbreak or cluster incidence among children has been reported.
