During the summer school holidays, 700 camps were organized in the region with round-the-clock and daytime stays, in which 48,530 children improved their health (102.5% of the plan). For the out-of-town health improvement of children, the base of stationary camps was used to the maximum. In 23 such camps, 14,249 children were healed.

The practice of operating regional specialized camps “Science”, “Leader”, camps for students of agricultural and pedagogical classes “Profstart”, and an environmental, biological and technical camp “World of Science” was continued. For the fourth year in a row, the “Young Cadet” camp operated on the basis of the State Educational Institution “Grodno Regional Cadet School”. Tent camps operated on the basis of country stationary health camps “Zorka” in Grodno, “Suzorye” in Grodno, “Romashka” in Voronovsky, “Ross” in Volkovysk, “Cosmodrome” in Shchuchinsky, and “Svityaz” in Novogrudok districts.

For the first time in the region, a model for organizing a summer recreation site “TechnoSTART” with a day stay was presented on the basis of the state educational institution “Grodno Regional Center for Technical Creativity”. The project was aimed at creating conditions for organizing effective recreation and recreation, strengthening the health of adolescents during the summer holidays, supporting gifted children, developing their interest in scientific, technical and innovative activities, the desire for personal scientific achievements, the formation of moral, civil and patriotic qualities

The priority task during the summer health campaign was and remains the health improvement of children in preferential categories, children in socially vulnerable situations. At the expense of the regional budget, an additional payment was made up to the full cost of vouchers for disabled children and orphans. A camp session was organized for 8 disabled children accompanied by their parents at the Lesnaya Polyana Children's Educational Institution.

The priority direction in the region’s health camps during the summer health campaign of 2023 was the ideological, civic and patriotic education of the younger generation. In order to foster national pride in belonging to their state, the history and culture of the Belarusian people, film lectures were held, feature films and documentaries were shown.
