In order to ensure high-quality organization of health and recreation for children and adolescents during the autumn holidays of the 2023-2024 school year, and to create conditions for active developmental leisure for students, 259 health camps with daytime and 24-hour stay for children, including:

256 day camps, organized on the basis of institutions of general secondary education, additional education for children and youth, where more than 14,600 metropolitan schoolchildren were treated;

3 round-the-clock specialized camps lasting 9 days, organized on the basis of country health camps, where more than 240 children in Minsk were healed.

In day camps, children were provided with three nutritious meals a day (breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack).

In each educational institution, a special health and educational program has been developed for students, including physical education, sports and cultural events, games, competitions, tournaments, classes in interest associations: clubs, sections, clubs, watching feature films and documentaries, holding themed discos and other events.

In addition, specialized programs were offered for children during the autumn holidays. The list of specialized programs is quite wide: environmental, artistic, career guidance, programs for the prevention of child road injuries, sports, etc.

For children attending day-time health camps, maximum conditions have been created for recovery, relaxation, rational use of vacation time, and the formation of a general culture and healthy lifestyle skills.

More than 240 Minsk schoolchildren had the opportunity to spend 9 days usefully, improve their health and relax during the autumn holidays not in the city, but in the countryside in the health camps "Horizon" of the branch of the open joint-stock company "Management Company of the Holding "Horizon" Social Complex, “Friendship” of RUE “Belpochta” at the recreation center “Druzhba” of the Republican Unitary Postal Enterprise “Belpochta”, “Sputnik” on the basis of the health complex “Sputnik” of the open joint-stock company “Minskremstroy”.

The Horizon health camp opened its eleventh off-season health session during the autumn holidays of 2023. Horizon offered nine educational programs for children to choose from. For example, young bloggers at Blogger Camp are not only taught how to create an account on TikTok from scratch and promote it, look for trends and use them to increase their audience, but also talk about safe behavior on the Internet.

During the IT classes, the children were taught the basics of website building, where they were offered a set of classes during which they could take the first steps in creating a web page.

Those who like to puzzle over a complex problem gathered in the IQ Camp project. In classes on intellectual development, children not only train their logical thinking, but also get acquainted with the basics of economics and finance.

In the educational project Magic Camp, the children were able to deepen their knowledge of the English language. The classes are aimed at removing the language barrier, increasing vocabulary and increasing interest in learning English.

At the doodling master class, students created an art puzzle of their happiest memories and moments. Thus, through play, children had the opportunity to get acquainted with the world of their feelings and emotions.

As part of the Stars Camp project, practical classes were organized for the children in acting, pop vocals and stage choreography (5 classes in each area), classes with elements of training on emancipation and removal of clamps. The students learned how to use a microphone. The children were also offered master classes in stage combat and the art of stuntman. The training session on applying stage makeup was no less interesting.

A 9-day camp with round-the-clock stay was also organized at the Druzhba health camp of the RUE Belposhta at the Druzhba recreation center of the Belpochta Republican Unitary Postal Enterprise. The specialized shift program “Kaleidoscope of Autumn Adventures” is aimed at developing a leisure culture among schoolchildren, motivation for creativity and learning, and is designed to help satisfy interests in various fields of knowledge and creative activity. As part of the shift, the republican action “Forest Week”, the artistic plein air “We are the heirs of victory”, “Creativity Day”, etc. were held.

Taking into account the round-the-clock stay of children in the camps, a full 5-course balanced diet was organized for children, which, in combination with natural factors, active recreation, educational and physical education and sports activities, provides a good healing effect.

The activities of the camps during the autumn holidays of the 2023-2024 academic year were carried out taking into account the full implementation of the recommended sanitary and hygienic measures.

Particular attention is paid to the organization of catering, systematic monitoring of the work of catering units, compliance with sanitary norms and rules, organizing the security of health camps and ensuring access control, and monitoring the condition of pupils by medical workers.
