On February 23, 2024, in the Lettsy sanatorium, after a major reconstruction, the new 5th building was inaugurated with the participation of the leadership of the Vitebsk region, Vitebsk district, Belprofsoyuzkurort Unitary Enterprise, Vitebsk Regional Association of Trade Unions, the Representative Office of the Vitebsk Regional Administration of the Republican Center for Health and Wellness and sanatorium-resort treatment of the population.

The cost of construction and installation work at this important facility amounted to 4.3 million rubles. The building has 65 single rooms, two of which are designed for wheelchair users. The building is equipped with comfortable rooms, an elevator, a fitness room, and a self-service laundry.

As part of the event, awards were given to the sanatorium employees who took an active part in putting the building into operation. An excursion to the building was organized for the guests.

The commissioning of the updated building will help meet the demand for family holidays and provide guests with even more comfortable living conditions.

– The sanatoriums brought in 27 million rubles in profit last year. The Lettsy sanatorium is one of the largest in the region and operates quite efficiently. And this new building will, among other things, allow us not only to earn more money, but also to provide comfortable, decent conditions for preserving the health of our citizens,” Alexander Subbotin expressed his opinion. – We have already received many requests for health improvement in the summer. I think that the “Flyers” need to continue to develop.

After the reconstruction of building No. 5, the total capacity of the Lettsy sanatorium will be 389 beds.

The first check-in to building No. 5 is already scheduled for March 19, 2024.
