Currently, the network of sanatorium-resort and health-improving organizations in the Vitebsk region includes 11 sanatorium-resorts, 7 health-improving organizations and three student sanatoriums. In addition, in the summer there are 33 children's health camps (including 5 sports and recreation camps). Over the past three years, four children's health camps have been opened: Katyusha, Braslav Wave, Scarlet Sail, Burevestnik.

The total number of vouchers sold by sanatorium-resort and health organizations in the Vitebsk region in 2023 was about 108 thousand.

The volume of vouchers sold in 2023 compared to 2022 also increased by 1.5%, and in 2022 compared to 2021 - by 5.9%.

The number of foreign citizens who underwent rehabilitation in sanatorium-resort and health-improving organizations in the Vitebsk region has also increased. The number of foreign citizens in 2023 compared to 2022 increased by 25.3%, and in 2022 compared to 2021 increased by 46.9%.

The market for “free” sales of sanatorium and health services has grown significantly. The total number of people who purchased vouchers at their own expense in 2023 increased by 4.7% compared to 2022, and in 2022 compared to 2021 by 7.2%.

Total revenue from sales of services in 2023 compared to 2022 increased by 21.5 million rubles or 22.7%. At the same time, in 2022 compared to 2021, revenue increased by 20.01 million rubles or 26.9%.

Total revenue from the sale of additional paid services in 2023 amounted to 13.5 million rubles, including revenue from the sale of additional paid medical services amounted to 7.1 million rubles, which is 38.01% more than in 2022.

To improve the health of children affected by the Chernobyl disaster, in 2023, at the expense of the Union State, 1,252 vouchers were purchased to 4 health resorts located on the territory of the Republic of Belarus and 1 located on the territory of the Russian Federation.

28% of the purchased vouchers were allocated to the Republican Center for the improvement of children of the Republic of Belarus, which amounts to 351 vouchers. The largest number of vouchers, as we see, from health resorts located on the territory of the Republic of Belarus, were purchased and allocated to the HICC “Pearl”.

To improve the health of veterans and disabled people of the Second World War and military operations, 412 vouchers were purchased at the expense of the Union State in 2023 to 3 health resorts located on the territory of the Republic of Belarus and 2 located on the territory of the Russian Federation.

To improve the health of veterans and disabled people of the Second World War and military operations, the Republican Center was allocated 24% of the total number of purchased vouchers, which is 99 vouchers.

The technical base of the health resorts allows them to annually cover more than 100 thousand people with their services.

In the Vitebsk region in 2023, more than 77.0 thousand children were healed in camps of various types.

During the off-season period, more than 32.5 thousand children were healed in day camps. The volume of budget funds aimed at reducing the cost of vouchers in the off-season period amounted to about 960.0 thousand rubles.

During the summer health campaign, 44,313 children were healed against the target of 43,072 children. The percentage of implementation of the plan for improving the health of children in the summer was 102.9%. Compared to 2022, 1,645 more children were healed in 2023. 7.3 million rubles of public funds were spent on subsidies.

There are 35 country health camps operating in the region, including 5 sports and recreational camps, this is the highest figure in the republic.

In total, about 3 million rubles were spent on preparing camps in the region, of which 1 million was allocated from the budget.

Summing up the results of the work, we can safely say that the united team of the representative office has done a lot of work in sanatorium and resort treatment of the population of the Vitebsk region in 2023.
