The event "Organization of Treatment and Health Improvement for Children from the Regions of Belarus and Russia Most Affected by the Chernobyl Disaster" is an annual event of the Union State and is held to help improve the quality of treatment and health improvement for children living in the regions of Belarus and Russia affected by the Chernobyl disaster and other radiation disasters, as well as to form a positive attitude among the younger generation towards integration processes within the Union State, and to strengthen friendly ties between peers from Belarus and Russia.

As part of the “Union State Day”, in the Zhemchuzhina Children’s Health and Recreation Center, in addition to the ceremonial line “Unity of Our States”, an exhibition-presentation “History of the Union State in Figures and Dates” was held, a ceremonial rally dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus at the monument to partisan glory of the Proryv Memorial Complex, and a concert “Unity of Belarus and Russia – There is no more beautiful Union in the whole world!”

Holding events on the topic of the Union State allows children from Belarus and Russia not only to get to know each other better, but also to expand their knowledge of the history of relations between the two Slavic states.
