On the results of the work of the Mogilev region on sanatorium-resort treatment and improvement of the population in 2018

In 2018, out of all sources of financing (the republican budget and state social insurance funds), 91333 people were rehabilitated in the Mogilev region, amounting to 16.1 million rubles.
With the use of state extra-budgetary fund of social protection of the population in the region, 6,524 vouchers were allocated for sanatorium-resort treatment and rehabilitation for working citizens, of which 3,625 were for their children. Also, subsidies were allocated to 673 full-time students and 69,144 schoolchildren during rehabilitation in health camps in the summer and interseasonal periods.
At the expense of the republican budget, 22 people from the number of disabled people and participants of the Great Patriotic War, 2677 non-working pensioners and disabled people, 30 full-time students, 342 from the number of employees and pensioners of law enforcement agencies and their children, 306 children received sanatorium health services disabled persons under the age of 18 years.
 
In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Belarus “On Social Protection of Citizens Affected by the Chernobyl Disaster and Other Radiation Accidents”, 11,667 people with appropriate benefits have been rehabilitated in the region.
Children living and studying in polluted areas, in the amount of 10,159 people, in the composition of organized groups, in 2018 received sanatorium-resort treatment and rehabilitation in 11 sanatorium-resort health centers located both in the Republic of Belarus, including children’s rehabilitation health centers "Zhemchuzhina", "Zhdanovichi", "Nadezhda", "Lesnaya Polyana" and beyond - 140 children took advantage of the sanatorium-resort treatment in the sanatorium "Belarus" (Sochi) and 140 children in the sanatorium "Belaya Rus" Tuapse).
In addition, 293 children aged 3 to 6 years accompanied by one of the parents received spa treatment.
Also in 2018, 8 disabled children (art. 18) and 16 adults with disabilities of groups 1 and 2 who suffered from the Chernobyl NPP disaster (art. 18), which is 100 percent of the plan, took advantage of the spa treatment.
In addition, at the expense of the budget of the Union State, in September-October 2018, 80 children were rehabilitated in Sanatorium Yantar LLC (Anapa).
In the Mogilyov region, one hundred percent coverage by sanatorium-resort treatment of children living and studying in the areas contaminated with radionuclides and provided for medical reasons requiring sanatorium-resort treatment is provided.
