On the organization of the rehabilitation of children of the Gomel region in the summer of 2020

In order to organize recreation and recreation, create conditions for active developing leisure of children and adolescents in the summer, in the Gomel region, preparatory work is underway for the opening of health camps with day and round-the-clock stays, in which 46750 children are planned to be rehabilitated. Of these, 11856 children in sports camps with round-the-clock and day stays, 3521 in labor and rest camps, 3800 in specialized 9-day camps, 1670 orphans and children without parental care, 429 disabled children.
The work will be organized in the region of 9 stationary suburban health camps and 1 camp on the basis of a sanatorium organization (SKUP Sanatorium Serebryanye Klyuchi).
In total, 6,008,650 rubles were allocated from the republican budget for the summer health campaign in the Gomel region. Including the amount of public funds to reduce the cost of vouchers is 4,493,950 rubles, and in the framework of the state program for the elimination of consequences at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, the republican budget provides 1,514,700 rubles for the purchase of 2,700 vouchers to health (sports) camps children.
Pursuant to the decision of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee of May 11, 2020 No. 375 "On the organization of the rehabilitation of children of the Gomel Region in the summer of 2020", health camps are being actively prepared for the summer period in accordance with the approved work schedules drawn up on the basis of the requirements of the sanitary and fire departments supervision. Ongoing repairs of residential buildings, catering units and other premises. Work is underway to improve the territory and bring the sports grounds and surrounding territories into proper condition.
The main points in preparing the summer health campaign are: creating the most safe and comfortable conditions for children to stay in camps of all types and directions; a thorough approach to the issue of forming the personnel of the camp workers, ensuring maximum accessibility to information about the camps.
