About the readiness of the camps of the Mogilev region for the beginning of the summer recreation campaign 2020

In 2020, in the Mogilev region, it is planned to improve 44,600 children and adolescents using public funds, including 17,971 schoolchildren in 24-hour camps and 26,629 in day camps.
The planned volumes of rehabilitation of children by region, including orphans and children with disabilities, were approved by the decision of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee of May 6, 2020 No. 4-27. The lists of host organizations, objects, types of work and the number of jobs for children sent to labor and leisure camps are approved by the decision of the regional executive committee of March 30, 2020 No. 2-78.
In order to timely prepare the camps for the upcoming season in the region, a plan of priority measures for the preparation of the material and technical base of stationary health camps was developed and approved. All stationary camps underwent cosmetic repairs of dormitories, canteens and clubs. The works on improvement and putting into proper condition the sports grounds and adjacent territories of the camps were completed. The kitchen and technological equipment, fixtures were replaced, furniture and upholstered equipment were updated.
This year, according to current data, over 500 thousand rubles were allocated for the preparation of stationary camps from all sources, including 59.785 rubles from the republican budget, which are distributed between 16 camps in proportion to the availability of places in them, and the regional budget - 180 thousand 462 rubles, the republican subbotnik - 81 thousand 200 rubles, sponsorship - 11 thousand rubles, the owners of the camps - about 200 thousand rubles.
In the summer period of 2020, children and adolescents will be rehabilitated on the basis of all 16 stationary camps, in addition, it is planned to use leased facilities (educational institutions, sports facilities, military units, the Olympic reserve school, recreation facilities, etc.), including 4 sanatorium and resort organizations (traditionally Sosny sanatoriums of Mogilevkhimvolokno OJSC, Dubrovenka RUE of the Mogilev branch of the Belarusian Railways, Children's Health Resort Svisloch DUP, this year for the first time plans to organize a health camp on its premises at the Shinnik OJSC sanatorium "Belshina").
In the region it is planned to improve 2120 of the number of orphans and 582 people with disabilities in 24-hour and day camps. According to the schedules, the camps will begin work on June 15. During the organized summer vacation, comprehensive measures will be taken to ensure safe conditions for children to stay in health care and to monitor compliance with the camps legislation on health, education, sanitary and epidemiological and fire safety.
