On the health improvement of children of the Gomel region during fall holidays 2020

In order to organize the recovery and recreation of children and adolescents during the autumn holidays from October 31 to November 8, 2020 in the Gomel region, it is planned to organize the work of 380 health camps for daytime stays at the bases of general secondary education institutions, additional education for children and youth, of which about 20 - on the bases of specialized educational and sports institutions, in which 8.6 thousand children will be provided with health improvement.
For this purpose, more than 215.00 thousand rubles from the republican budget have been allocated to reduce the cost of a voucher to the camps.
The amount of public funds to reduce the cost of a voucher to a health camp with a day stay during the autumn holidays of the 2020-2021 academic year for one bed-day was 4.20 rubles.
The average cost of a ticket to health camps, depending on the age of the child, is planned in the amount of: for children 6-10 years old - 30.2 rubles, 11-13 years old - 34.3 rubles, 14-17 years old - 38.6 rubles.
Meals in the camps will be organized on the basis of food norms and monetary norms for food expenses established by the legislation of the Republic of Belarus.
Special attention in the region is paid to the health improvement of minors from large, low-income and single-parent families who are in a socially dangerous situation and are in various types of registration, under school supervision, students from large and low-income families, children from foster and foster families. When enrolling children in the camp, these children are given priority.
The work of health camps is organized in compliance with sanitary, fire safety and other requirements for organizing children's health improvement. In order to minimize the risk of the introduction and spread of COVID-19 infection in health camps, the implementation of sanitary and anti-epidemic measures recommended by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus is ensured. During cultural events, the maximum separation of children will be organized, and the maximum stay of children in the open air will be ensured.
